Location

As the hotel's name promises, it is located directly on the edge of the jungle and along a 4 km long natural beach on the still largely pristine east coast. The distance to the port city of Trincomalee, which offers various sights, is approx. 30 km.
The transfer time from Colombo International Airport is approx. 6-7 hours.
A transfer via domestic flight (approx. 45 minutes) followed by a further approx. 45 minutes by bus can be booked optionally for an additional charge.

The freshly renovated Jungle Beach Hotel impresses with 49 comfortable cabins, which have been harmoniously integrated into the existing jungle landscape. During construction, great importance was placed on preserving the natural vegetation, ensuring the resort is embedded naturally amidst lush greenery, tall palms, and established clearings.
The reception area with its open-plan lobby captivates with its airy architecture featuring wood and natural materials. Ample seating and clear lines of sight to the surrounding jungle create a relaxed and authentic atmosphere right from the moment of arrival.
The main restaurant ensures culinary variety, with its open design architecturally embracing the tropical surroundings. Here, traditional dishes are lovingly prepared using fresh, local ingredients. Two bars also offer refreshing drinks and light snacks in a laid-back holiday atmosphere.
In the sprawling, natural garden area, which preserves the character of the original jungle, you will find the harmoniously integrated swimming pool with a sun terrace. Sun loungers, pool towels, and parasols are available to guests free of charge, inviting you to relax amidst the tropical greenery.
