Location

The resort is located directly on an outer reef in the southern part of the South Male Atoll. The main island is approx. 800 m long and 200 m wide; Dream Island is approx. 400 m long and 200 m wide. The transfer time from Male airport is approximately 45 minutes by speedboat.

The hotel features a total of 376 villas and suites spread across both islands. The island "Dream Island" is connected to the main island by a bridge. Amenities include a lobby area with a reception, a souvenir shop, as well as a boutique and a jeweler on each island. A total of 15 restaurants and bars cater to your culinary needs. These include the "Siyam Orchid" restaurant with Thai specialties, the "Namaste" restaurant with Indian delicacies, and the "Crust&Flame" restaurant with wood-fired pizzas. The outdoor area includes 6 large swimming pools, where sun loungers, beach towels, and parasols are included. Among these are an Adults Only pool and the longest pool in the Maldives, measuring 210 m in length.

Accommodation

Beach Pavillion

The approx. 50 m² Deluxe rooms are located in two-story bungalows and were newly renovated in 2024. They are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, double bed, and a balcony or terrace facing the sea (2BP). Can be booked as a Sunset Beach Pavilion (BBS) for an extra charge.

Water Villa

With similar amenities to the Deluxe double rooms, these are built on stilts over the water, are more spacious (approx. 64 m²), and feature a furnished sun deck, sea view, and direct lagoon access (W2V).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential hazard for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types.

Deluxe Watervilla

The approx. 82 m² villas are built on stilts directly over the water and offer even more luxury with the same amenities as the Deluxe Water Villas, plus a rainfall shower and an unobstructed view of the lagoon (2DW).

Generous breakfast buffet, lunch, and dinner buffet in the main restaurant or a-la-carte in selected restaurants. Afternoon tea and snacks. Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks by the glass (e.g., water, soft drinks, juices, beer, house wine, spirits) at the currently open bars and at the 24/7 Sunrise Bar. The minibar is replenished daily with soft drinks, canned beer, and wine. Snorkeling equipment is included for the duration of the stay.
In addition, the use of kayaks and stand-up paddle boards is included for one hour per day per person, and guests receive a 20% discount on motorized water sports. Guests also receive a $50 credit for all diving activities as well as on selected spa treatments. The minibar is additionally restocked daily with wine and snacks. One excursion to a local island and one sunset cruise are included per stay.

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1–2 stopovers during seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an intermediate overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Excluded are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration (in such cases, our local agency will take care of any necessary intermediate stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island) as well as currently most domestic flights are only carried out during the day. It may therefore be necessary to stay overnight in Male.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat subsequently.

In the Maldives, sinks or even bathtubs/whirlpools can be integrated openly into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be a total of 1 or 2 large beds available. Accordingly, it may happen that when 2 adults + 1 or 2 children share a room, one child must sleep in the parents' bed.
