Location

The resort is located directly on an outer reef in the southern part of the South Male Atoll. The main island is approx. 800 m long and 200 m wide, Dream Island is approx. 400 m long and 200 m wide. The transfer time from Male Airport is approx. 45 minutes by speedboat.

The hotel has a total of 376 villas and suites spread across both islands. The island "Dream Island" is connected to the main island by a bridge. Amenities include a reception area with a reception desk and a souvenir shop on each island, as well as a boutique and a jeweler on the main island. A total of 15 restaurants and bars cater to your culinary needs. Among them is the "Siyam Orchid" restaurant with Thai specialties, the "Namaste" restaurant with Indian delicacies, and the "Italian" restaurant with Mediterranean delights. The outdoor area features 6 large swimming pools, where sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are included. These include an adults-only pool and the longest pool in the Maldives, measuring 210 m in length.

Accommodation

Beach Pavillion

The approx. 50 sqm Deluxe rooms are located in two-story bungalows and were newly renovated in 2024. They are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, double bed, and a balcony or terrace facing the sea (2BP). Available as Sunset Beach Pavilion (BBS) for an additional charge.

Water Villa

With similar amenities to the Deluxe Double Rooms, these are built on stilts over the water, are more spacious (approx. 64 sqm), and feature a furnished sun deck, sea view, and direct lagoon access (W2V).

Deluxe Watervilla

The approx. 82 sqm villas are built on stilts directly over the water and offer even more luxury with a rain shower and unobstructed lagoon views, in addition to the same amenities as the Deluxe Water Villas (2DW).

Rich breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner buffet in the main restaurant or à la carte in selected restaurants. Afternoon tea and snacks. Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by the glass (e.g., water, soft drinks, juices, beer, house wine, spirits) at the open bars from 10 am to midnight. The minibar is replenished daily with soft drinks and canned beer and wine. Snorkel equipment is included for the entire stay.
Additionally, the use of kayaks and stand-up paddleboards is included for one hour per day per person, and guests receive a 20% discount on motorized water sports. Guests also receive a $50 credit towards all diving activities, as well as selected spa treatments. The minibar is replenished daily with wine and snacks.

Sports included

Fitness center, badminton, tennis, and billiards.
Kayaks and SUP, 1 hour per day free of charge.

The "Maakanaa Kids Club" offers a varied program for children aged 3-12, as well as a children's pool.

The "The Spa" on the main island and "Ocean Spa" on Dream Island, located over the water, are the ideal places to harmonize body, mind, and soul. They offer hydrotherapy pools, sauna, steam bath, as well as extensive massages and treatments (for a fee).

Hotel-independent transfer information:
Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures between 5 am and 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9:30 am and 4 pm // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9 am and 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1-2 stopovers on seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or longer waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on island location) and currently mostly domestic flights are only operated during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be one or two large beds available in total.
