Location

The Fiyavalhu Resort Maldives is located on a inhabited, local island in the southern part of the South Ari Atoll. The resort has a private beach area, offering good conditions for snorkeling. Transfer time is approx. 25 minutes by domestic flight to Maamigili Island Airport, followed by another 30 minutes by speedboat. From booking date 1.10., transfers will be by seaplane.
From 1.1.26, transfers will be approx. 90 minutes by speedboat. Seaplane transfers are available at an additional charge.

Facilities

The 43 accommodation units are spread across the beach and the tropical garden area of the resort. Further hotel facilities include a reception area with a front desk and a boutique. For culinary delights, authentic Maldivian and international cuisine are served in the main restaurant "KOVELI". Additionally, you can indulge in à la carte snacks and a selection of dishes throughout the day at the "RIYA" café, as well as enjoy seafood and steaks at the specialty restaurant "MANDHOO-GRILL". Alcoholic beverages are served at the floating bar "JADE". At the main pool, which includes a children's area, sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge.

Garden Villa

The rooms (approx. 49 sqm) are built in blocks of 6 units each and feature a bathroom with bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, and a furnished terrace facing the garden. (GV1/GV2)

Deluxe Garden Villa

With similar amenities, but larger (approx. 65 sqm incl. outdoor area), detached, and featuring an outdoor rain shower, a desk, and a terrace overlooking the tropical garden. (D2G)

Beach Pool Villa

With similar amenities to the Deluxe Beach Villa, but larger (approx. 104 sqm incl. outdoor area), built in a block of 5 units, the rooms also feature a garden rain shower and a private pool. (VSZ/VPZ)
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to young children. Therefore, for bookings of these room types, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children for safety reasons.

Premium Beach Pool Villa

With similar amenities to the Beach Pool Villa, but larger (approx. 155 sqm) and detached.

Soft All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a rich buffet in the main restaurant "KOVELI". In the afternoon from 4 PM to 6 PM, snacks and cakes are served with tea & coffee at the "Riya Café". A selection of non-alcoholic drinks are served by the glass during meals and from 9 AM to 11 PM at the "Riya Café". The minibar is restocked once daily with soft drinks and snacks.
Additionally, guests staying for 4 nights or more receive one excursion (night fishing/upon request and availability) per person. A selection of non-motorized water sports is included.
Furthermore, a 20% discount on selected spa treatments.

All Inclusive Plus

In addition to All Inclusive, guests receive a selection of alcoholic beverages (selected cocktails, beer, house wines in red, white, and rosé, various spirits such as gin, vodka, and whiskey) at the floating bar "JADE" from 4 PM to 11 PM. Drinks may not be taken off the island. Kayak and canoes for one hour per person per stay.

Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic (domestic flight): Operates for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long immigration waiting times (in such cases, our local agency will arrange for an overnight stay if necessary).

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two Queen/King-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Accordingly, it may happen that when 2 adults + 1 or 2 children share a room, one child has to sleep in the parents' bed. Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), as well as currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be required.

The luggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage is payable on site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat.

In the Maldives, sinks or even bathtubs/whirlpools may be open and integrated into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.
