Location

Fiyavalhu Resort Maldives is located on a inhabited, local island in the southern part of the South Ari Atoll. The resort has a private beach area, offering good conditions for snorkeling. The transfer time is approximately 25 minutes by domestic flight to Maamigili Island airport and another 30 minutes by speedboat. From booking date 1.10., the transfer will be by seaplane.
From 1.1.26, the transfer will be approximately 90 minutes by speedboat. Transfer by seaplane can be booked at an additional charge.

Facilities

The 43 accommodation units are spread across the beach and the tropical garden area of the complex. Further facilities include a reception area with a reception desk and a boutique. For culinary delights, authentic Maldivian and international cuisine are served in the main restaurant "KOVELI". Additionally, you can indulge in à la carte snacks and a selection of dishes at the "RIYA" café throughout the day, as well as enjoy seafood and steaks at the specialty restaurant "MANDHOO-GRILL". Alcoholic beverages are served at the floating bar "JADE". Sunshades, loungers, and bath towels are available free of charge at the main pool, which has a children's section.

Garden Villa

The rooms (approx. 49 m²) are built in blocks of 6 units each and feature a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, and a furnished terrace facing the garden. (GV1/GV2)

Deluxe Garden Villa

With similar amenities, but larger (approx. 65 m² including outdoor area), detached, and featuring an outdoor rain shower, a desk, and a terrace overlooking the tropical garden. (D2G)

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the form of rich buffets at the main restaurant "KOVELI". In the afternoon from 4 PM to 6 PM, snacks and cakes are served with tea & coffee at the "Riya Café". A selection of non-alcoholic beverages are served by the glass during meals and from 9 AM to 11 PM at the "Riya Café". The minibar is replenished once daily with soft drinks and snacks.
Additionally, guests staying for 4 nights or more receive an excursion (night fishing/upon request and availability) per person. A selection of non-motorized water sports is included.
Furthermore, a 20% discount on selected spa treatments.

All Inclusive Plus

In addition to All Inclusive, guests receive a selection of alcoholic beverages (selected cocktails, beer, house wines in red, white, and rosé, various spirits such as gin, vodka, and whiskey) at the floating bar "JADE" from 4 PM to 11 PM. Beverages cannot be taken off the island. Kayak and canoes for one hour per person per stay.

Hotel-independent transfer information:
Speedboat: Operation for approx. arrival/departure between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operation for approx. arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may involve 1-2 stopovers.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or long waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Accordingly, it may happen that one child has to sleep in the parents' bed when 2 adults + 1 or 2 children share a room. Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) as well as currently most domestic flights are only operated during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be required.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg of hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat.
