Location

Fiyavalhu Resort Maldives is located on an inhabited, local island in the southern part of South Ari Atoll. The resort has a private beach section, offering good conditions for snorkeling. The transfer time is approx. 25 minutes by domestic flight to Maamigili Island Airport and another 30 minutes by speedboat. As of booking date 1.10., the transfer will be carried out by seaplane.
From 1.1.26, the transfer will be approx. 90 minutes by speedboat. Seaplane transfer can be booked at an additional charge.

Facilities

The 43 accommodation units are spread across the beach and the tropical garden area of the complex. Further facilities include a reception area with a reception desk and a boutique. For culinary delights, authentic Maldivian and international cuisine is served in the main restaurant "KOVELI". Additionally, you can enjoy à la carte snacks and a selection of dishes all day at the "RIYA" café, as well as indulge in seafood and steaks at the specialty restaurant "MANDHOO-GRILL". Alcoholic beverages are served at the floating bar "JADE". Sunshades, loungers, and beach towels are available free of charge at the main pool, which has a children's section.

Garden Villa

The rooms (approx. 49 sqm), built in blocks of 6 units each, feature a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, and a furnished terrace facing the garden. (GV1/GV2)

Deluxe Garden Villa

With similar amenities, but larger (approx. 65 sqm incl. outdoor area), detached, and featuring an outdoor rain shower, a desk, and a terrace facing the tropical garden. (D2G)

Beach Pool Villa

With similar amenities to the Deluxe Beach Villa, but larger (approx. 104 sqm incl. outdoor area), built in blocks of 5 units, the rooms also feature a rain shower in the garden and a private pool. (VSZ/VPZ)

Premium Beach Pool Villa

With similar amenities to the Beach Pool Villa, but larger (approx. 155 sqm) and detached.

Rich breakfast buffet. With half board booked, dinner is also included. With full board booked, lunch and dinner are also included.

All Inclusive

Soft All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the form of rich buffets at the main restaurant "KOVELI". In the afternoon from 4 PM to 6 PM, snacks and cakes are served with tea & coffee at the "Riya Café". A selection of non-alcoholic drinks are served by the glass during meals and from 9 AM to 11 PM at the "Riya Café". The minibar is restocked daily with soft drinks and snacks once.
Furthermore, guests staying for 4 nights or more receive one excursion (night fishing/on request and subject to availability) per person. A selection of non-motorized water sports is included.
Additionally, a 20% discount on selected spa treatments.

All Inclusive Plus

In addition to All Inclusive, guests receive a selection of alcoholic beverages (selected cocktails, beer, house wines in red, white, and rosé, various spirits such as gin, vodka, and whiskey) at the floating bar "JADE" from 4 PM to 11 PM. Drinks cannot be taken to the island. Kayaks and canoes are included for one hour per person per stay.

Hotel-independent transfer information:
Speedboat: Operation generally for expected arrivals/departures between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operation generally for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation generally for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may involve 1-2 intermediate stops.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or longer waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be required.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For a party of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it is possible that only one or two large beds are available in total. Consequently, if 2 adults + 1 or 2 children share a room, one child might have to sleep in the parents' bed. Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), and currently most domestic flights, only operate during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

The luggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat later.

In the Maldives, sinks or even bathtubs/whirlpools may be openly integrated into the general living area of the hotel room without a separate enclosure.
