Location

The resort is located on Falhumaafushi island in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll and is connected to The Residence Dhigurah via a jetty. Transfer from the airport is by domestic flight (approx. 55 minutes) and speedboat (approx. 7 minutes).

The Residence Falhumaafushi has a total of 97 luxuriously appointed villas. Amenities include an open reception area with seating, as well as a boutique and a souvenir shop. For culinary delights, there are two restaurants: "The Dining Room" serving international cuisine, and the "The Falhumaa" overwater restaurant. Enjoy cool refreshments and exotic cocktails at one of the three bars. The infinity pool with views of the Indian Ocean is located directly on the beach. The house reef allows for optimal exploration of the breathtaking underwater world of the Gaafu Alifu Atoll. Loungers and sun umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

The Beach Villas are approx. 85 m² and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, bathrobes/slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, LED TV, DVD player, telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and a furnished terrace. Water Villa

With the same amenities as the Beach Villa, the Water Villa is smaller (approx. 84 m²), built on stilts over the water, and offers direct access to the sea. (W2V) Also available at an extra charge as Water Pool Villa. (WVP)

Deluxe Water Villa with Pool

With the same amenities as the Beach Villa, the Deluxe Water Villa with Pool is larger (approx. 182 m²) and additionally features a living room and a private pool. (2DW)

Hotel-independent transfer information:
Speedboat: Operation for expected arrival/departure between 5 am and 11 pm // Domestic (inland flight): Operation for arrivals/departures between 9:30 am and 4 pm // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures between 9 am and 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 stops.
For arrivals/departures outside the times mentioned above, in case of bad weather or long waiting times at immigration, an overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.

The luggage limit for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat.

In the Maldives, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be openly integrated into the main living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For a party of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may be only 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Accordingly, it may happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child has to sleep in the parents' bed! An extra bed cannot be guaranteed in advance and will be assigned on site subject to availability.
