Location

The resort is located on the island of Falhumaafushi in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll and is connected to The Residence Dhigurah via a jetty. Transfer from the airport is by domestic flight (approx. 55 minutes) and speedboat (approx. 7 minutes).

The Residence Falhumaafushi has a total of 97 luxuriously furnished villas. Amenities include an open reception area with seating, as well as a boutique and a souvenir shop. For your culinary well-being, there are two restaurants: "The Dining Room" with international cuisine and the "The Falhumaa" overwater restaurant. Enjoy cool refreshments and exotic cocktails at three bars. The infinity pool, overlooking the Indian Ocean, is located directly on the beach. The house reef allows for optimal exploration of the breathtaking underwater world of the Gaafu Alifu Atoll. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Beach Villa

The Beach Villas are approximately 85 sqm and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, bathrobes/slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, LED TV, DVD player, telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and a furnished terrace. (2BV) Beach Pool Villas with a private pool are also available at an additional cost. (VPZ) Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, schauinsland-reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Water Villa

With the same amenities as the Beach Villa, the Water Villa is smaller (approx. 84 sqm), built on stilts over the water, and offers direct access to the sea. (W2V) Water Pool Villas are also available at an additional cost. (WVP) Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, schauinsland-reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Deluxe Water Villa with Pool

With the same amenities as the Beach Villa, the Deluxe Water Villa with Pool is larger (approx. 182 sqm) and additionally features a living room and a private pool. (2DW)

Meals

All Inclusive

All meals are served buffet-style in the main restaurant "The Dining Room". Alternatively, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed as a set menu in selected restaurants (reservations required). Various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 11 am to 11 pm at the respective open bar. Daily replenishment of the minibar with soft drinks, juices, and beer. Additionally, free use of kayaks and stand-up paddleboards (one hour per day). Complimentary ironing service (two items per person per stay).

Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrival/departure between 5 am and 11 pm // Domestic (inland flight): Operates for arrivals/departures approximately between 9:30 am and 4 pm // Seaplane: Operates approximately for arrivals/departures between 9 am and 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may involve 1-2 intermediate stops.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are made for changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or extended immigration waiting times (in these cases, our local agency will arrange for any necessary overnight stay).

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be a total of 1 or 2 large beds available. Accordingly, it is possible that in a room with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, one child will have to sleep in the parents' bed! An extra bed cannot be guaranteed in advance and will be allocated on site subject to availability.
