Location

The resort is located on the island of Falhumaafushi in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll and is connected to The Residence Dhigurah by a bridge. The transfer from the airport is by domestic flight (approx. 55 minutes) and speedboat (approx. 7 minutes).

The Residence Falhumaafushi has a total of 97 luxuriously furnished villas. Amenities include an open-plan reception area with seating, as well as a boutique and a souvenir shop. Two restaurants provide for your culinary needs: "The Dining Room" restaurant with international cuisine and "The Falhumaa" overwater restaurant. Enjoy cool refreshments and exotic cocktails at a total of three bars. The infinity pool with a view of the Indian Ocean is located directly on the beach. The house reef allows you to optimally explore the breathtaking underwater world of the Gaafu Alifu Atoll. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Beach Villa

The Beach Villas are approx. 85 m² and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, bathrobes/slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, LED TV, DVD player, telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and a furnished terrace. (2BV) Also bookable as a Beach Pool Villa with private pool for an extra charge. (VPZ) Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types.

Water Villa

With the same amenities as the Beach Villa, the Water Villa is smaller (approx. 84 m²), built on stilts over the water, and has direct access to the sea (W2V). Also bookable as a Water Villa with Pool for an extra charge (WVP).

Deluxe Water Villa

The approx. 182m² villas, built over the lagoon, feature a bedroom with a king-size bed, a separate spacious living room, bathroom with bathtub and shower, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, safe, and a furnished veranda with seating and loungers. The private sun terrace includes its own pool (approx. 2.5 x 6 m) and direct access to the lagoon. (WVP)

Full board

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as part of a "Dine Around" concept. Lunch is available at the main restaurant "The Dining Room" (buffet or set menu), at "The Beach Bar", "Café del Sol", "Li Bai", or "Long Island" (each as a set menu). Dinner is available at "The Dining Room" (buffet or set menu) as well as at the restaurants "Li Bai", "Long Island", or "The Falhumaa" (each as a set menu). A surcharge may apply for selected dishes; reservations are sometimes required.

Breakfast with sparkling wine and an extensive international selection in the main restaurant "The Dining Room". Lunch and dinner as part of the Dine-Around concept in selected restaurants (reservations sometimes required). Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, draught beer, house wine by the glass, spirits, cocktails, juices, tea, coffee, water, and ice cream during meals in the restaurants and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the respectively open bar. Daily minibar refill with beer, juices, soft drinks, and snacks. Additionally, an introduction to the house reef is included once per stay.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may be only 1 or 2 large beds available. An extra bed cannot be guaranteed in advance and will be provided on-site subject to availability.
