Location

The luxurious beach resort is situated on the beautiful northeast coast of the island of Zanzibar and is approximately 60 minutes from the international airport. The pearl-white sandy beach is located about 300 m from the main part of the hotel. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Indian Ocean.
The resort is surrounded by a natural coral reef, making swimming a relaxing and safe experience.

Amenities

The hotel was completely renovated in the summer of 2011 and is set within expansive grounds. In 2025, 15 private villas were built, and renovations of the rooms and parts of the resort are currently ongoing (without disturbing guests). All 174 rooms and suites offer absolute privacy. The holiday resort features a lobby with a reception and internet corner, Wi-Fi (complimentary in public areas), as well as 6 different restaurants (Gabi Beach, Spices Restaurant, Jetty Lounge, Pool Bar, The Level Restaurant, and Tamu Restaurant (à-la-carte restaurant with Swahili cuisine, for a fee)) and 7 different bars. The outdoor area offers 3 different freshwater pools, surrounded by an extensive green area, as well as sun loungers and parasols (subject to availability). Towels for rooms and the pool are provided free of charge.

The Level Beach Pavillion (BF2)

Exclusive rooms (80 m²) (bookable from age 16) located directly on the Indian Ocean, offering a magnificent sea view. The Level One-Bedroom Ocean Villa (OBO)

Luxurious villas are approximately 400 m² and feature a separate bedroom with a king-size bed, separate living area, seating area, bathroom with shower, bathtub, outdoor shower, WC, separate WC, bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, vanity mirror, air conditioning, fan, minibar (regular replenishment with soft drinks, mineral water, beer, house wine, spirits), safe, 2 TVs, Wi-Fi, kitchen, kettle, coffee/tea, terrace, private pool, butler service, separate check-in & check-out, early check-in (subject to availability), late check-out (subject to availability), access to the club lounge, breakfast in the club lounge, soft drinks in the club lounge, laundry service (limited quantity), water in the room upon arrival, evening premium drinks and cocktails, exclusive garden area next to the pool area with sun terrace, sea view, and pool concierge service (refreshing towels, food, and drinks throughout the day).

The lack of authorization is not due to specific safety problems within individual airlines, but rather to the inspection and safety procedures of the Tanzanian aviation authority, which currently do not meet the security requirements of the EU.
