The luxurious beach resort is located on the beautiful northeast coast of Zanzibar island, approximately 60 minutes from the international airport. The pearly white sandy beach is about 300m from the main part of the hotel. From here, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Indian Ocean.
The resort is surrounded by a natural coral reef, making swimming a relaxed and safe experience.

The hotel was completely renovated in the summer of 2011 and offers extensive grounds. All 159 rooms and suites offer absolute privacy. Your holiday resort has an entrance hall with a reception and an internet corner, Wi-Fi (free in public areas), and 6 different restaurants (Gabi Beach, Spices Restaurant, Jetty Lounge, Pool Bar, The Level Restaurant and Tamu Restaurant (a la carte Swahili Restaurant (this incurs a fee)) and 7 different bars. The outdoor area offers 3 different freshwater pools surrounded by spacious green areas, as well as loungers and umbrellas (subject to availability). Room and pool towels are provided free of charge.

The standard rooms on the ground floor with direct access to the garden have a hairdryer, safe, bathtub, safe, minibar (daily refilled with various soft drinks), bathrobes and slippers, coffee and tea making facilities, air conditioning and ceiling fan, telephone, flatscreen TV, balcony or terrace (D). The family rooms have 2 separate living areas (bedroom and living room) and 2 balconies. These are located on the first floor with garden or sea view. Otherwise, the facilities are the same as for "Melia Garden Room" (DF2).

The warm and cozy wooden bungalows have a spectacular terrace with direct sea view and a typical "Makuti" roof (MB2).

The exclusive rooms (80 sqm) (bookable for guests aged 16 and over), located directly on the Indian Ocean with a magnificent sea view, are equipped with a king-size bed, premium minibar (daily refilled with non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages), Wi-Fi, telephone, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, separate shower, large bathtub, a safe (for a fee), wellness ball, air conditioning, private terrace, tea and coffee making facilities.

In this 117 sqm suite (bookable for guests aged 16 and over) with a large bedroom with a king-size bed, a bathroom with a 48-inch TV and a large, separate lounge with a dining area, absolute relaxation is guaranteed.

The exclusive rooms (45 sqm) (bookable for guests aged 16 and over), located directly on the Indian Ocean with a magnificent sea view, are equipped with a king-size bed, Wi-Fi, telephone, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, separate shower, large bathtub, bathrobe and slippers, a safe (for a fee), air conditioning, private terrace, tea and coffee making facilities. The approx. 42 sqm rooms (bookable for guests aged 16 and over) offer a beautiful sea view and are located in the "The Level" area. The room features a canopy bed, a bathroom with a shower, coffee machine with capsules, premium minibar with local drinks, bathrobe and slippers, and access to the "The Level" lounge and pool area.

The new Double Rooms Premium Garden are bookable from 1.11.2025 and are approx. 50 sqm. They feature a king-size bed, balcony with garden view, bathroom with bathtub, air conditioning, bathrobe and slippers, free Wi-Fi, Smart TV with screen mirroring. Also bookable as a single room (P1G).

The new Double Rooms Premium Terrace are bookable from 1.11.25 and are approx. 50 sqm. They feature a king-size bed, a terrace for relaxing, a bedroom with plenty of space to rest, a dressing area, and a modern bathroom with a bathtub. Also bookable as a single room (P1T).
