3 Tage- Tsavo West Severin Safari Camp inkl. Zuganreise

The safaris always start on Mondays and, from 01.11.2026, always on Fridays.
Day 1 "Mombasa-Tsavo West National Park": Pick-up from the hotel in the early morning (south coast around 5:30 am, north coast 6:30 am) and transfer to the train terminal in Mombasa for a train ride (1st class) to Mtito Andei (departure 8 am, arrival 11:18 am). After arrival, pick-up and transfer with the Severin Camp vehicle to Tsavo West National Park, where you will enjoy your first lunch at your accommodation, the "Severin Safari Camp". In the afternoon, the first game drive through Tsavo West National Park begins with a 6-seater vehicle and an English-speaking driver/guide. The extensive and diverse habitats offer an ideal area for spotting lion prides, buffalo, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and wildebeest. Enjoy a sundowner at "Mzima Springs", underground water that seeps into the "Chyulu Hills", which is a great place to observe hippos. There is also a great variety of bird species. Dinner will also be served at your booked accommodation (Severin Safari Camp).
Day 2 "Tsavo West National Park": Spend the entire day in Tsavo West National Park with a morning game drive and a 1.5-hour guided nature walk. All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and the overnight stay remain at the "Severin Safari Camp".
Day 3 "Tsavo West National Park-Mombasa": The day begins with an early breakfast, followed by a transfer to the Mtito Andei train station for the return journey by train (1st class) to Mombasa (departure 10:54 am, arrival 2 pm). After arrival in Mombasa, transfer to your booked hotel.
Minimum of 2 participants.
Safaris can start no earlier than the 2nd day of your stay. The latest return to the booked beach hotel is 2 days before departure. Program schedule is subject to change.
Carrying e-cigarettes on the train is not permitted!
After completing the booking, we require copies of passports for all travelers. These are needed to book the train journey (res.afrika@schauinsland-reisen.de).

Day 2: After a morning safari along the springs of the Tsavo River – the lifeline for hippos and crocodiles – breakfast awaits you at the camp. Afterward, you have time to relax in the KENBALI Spa. For lunch, choose from our à-la-carte menu in the restaurant and enjoy the fantastic view over the vast savannah. In the late afternoon, you will be taken to the highlight of the day. At Poacher's Lookout, you will enjoy a beautiful sunset with a glass of sparkling wine and canapés. From here, you have a wonderful view over the bushland of El Turesh. On the way back to the camp, you will experience the African savannah at night – an unforgettable adventure. When our driver turns off the engine, you can enjoy the silence in the middle of the wilderness under the starry sky. After an exciting day in the African bush, a culinary dinner awaits you at our camp.
Day 3: The day begins with an early breakfast, followed by a transfer to the Mtito Andei train station for the return journey by train (1st class) to Mombasa (departure 10:54 am, arrival 2 pm). After arrival in Mombasa, transfer to your booked hotel.
