Location

The extensive resort is located directly on the hotel's own sand/gravel beach (bathing shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam Airport. The gently sloping beach allows for a relaxing beach holiday. A long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can discover the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers ideal conditions for snorkeling and diving.

The large, newly opened hotel complex consists of 514 rooms. The comfortably and charmingly furnished complex features a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan" - Oriental, "Soprano Restaurant" - International cuisine), one à la carte restaurant ("Shell Fish" - Seafood, once per stay, reservation required), two snack restaurants, and various bars and a cafe, The Bakery. The spacious outdoor area includes 12 swimming pools (three heated in winter) and 3 children's pools (two heated in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with 32 water slides (11 for adults and 21 for children; partially heated in winter) offers fun for all ages. Sun loungers, umbrellas, cushions, and towels are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach. Guests of the "Pickalbatros Portofino Villaggio" can use all facilities of the sister hotel "Pickalbatros Portofino Vita" (RMF116).

Double Room

The modern garden-view rooms are spacious (D, approx. 35 sqm) and equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water only included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and a balcony or terrace. Double rooms with pool view (PD) or sea view (DM) are available for an additional charge. Under RMFA49, single occupancy with garden view (1GD), pool view (PDE), and sea view (DEM) is also available.

Beachfront Sea View

The Beachfront Sea View rooms (BF2, approx. 42-45 sqm) are spacious and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and a terrace or balcony. The Beachfront Sea View rooms are located directly on the beach with a sea view.

Superior Double Room

The modern Superior Double rooms (DSU, approx. 42-45 sqm) are equipped with a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and a balcony or terrace. Superior Double rooms with pool view (DSP) or sea view (DMU) are available for an additional charge. Under RMFA49, single occupancy with garden view (DSE), pool view (DST), and sea view (DME) is also available.

Deluxe Family Room Garden View

The modern rooms (2FS, approx. 70 sqm) consist of one bedroom with a king-size bed and another bedroom with single beds and a sofa bed. They are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and a balcony or terrace. Rooms with pool view (XF2) are available for an additional charge.

Royal Suite Swim Up Pool View

The Royal Suites (SWP) are approximately 105 sqm and feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (water included), safe, kettle, telephone (for a fee), TV, and a terrace with direct access to the shared swim-up pool. The rooms have two bedrooms.
