Location

The spacious resort is located directly on the hotel's own sand/pebble beach (bathing shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam airport.
Thanks to the gently sloping beach, you have the opportunity for a relaxing beach holiday. Additionally, the long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can discover the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

The large, newly opened hotel complex consists of 514 rooms. The comfortably and charmingly furnished complex features a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan" - oriental, "Soprano Restaurant" - international cuisine), an à la carte restaurant ("Shell Fish" - seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants, various bars, and a café, The Bakery.
In the extensive outdoor area, there are 12 swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) and 3 children's pools (two of which can be heated in winter). The newly built aqua park with 32 water slides (11 for adults and 21 for children; partially heatable in winter) offers fun for all ages.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, pads, and towels are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach.
Guests of the "Pickalbatros Portofino Villaggio" can use all facilities of the sister hotel "Pickalbatros Portofino Vita" (RMF116).

The modern rooms with garden view are spacious (D, approx. 35 m²) and equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (only water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.

Beachfront Sea View

The Beachfront Sea View rooms (BF2, approx. 42-45 m²) are large and the rooms feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and terrace or balcony. The Beachfront Sea View rooms are located directly on the beach with a view of the sea.
Also bookable for single use (BF1).

Double Room Superior

The modern Double Superior rooms (DSU, approx. 42-45 m²) are equipped with a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.
Also bookable with pool view (DSP) or sea view (DMU) for an extra charge.
Under RMFA49 also bookable as single occupancy with garden view (DSE), single occupancy with pool view (DST), and single occupancy with sea view (DME).

Family Room Deluxe Garden View

The modern rooms (2FS, approx. 70 m²) consist of a bedroom with a king-size bed, a bedroom with single beds, and a sofa bed, and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.
Also bookable with pool view (XF2) for an extra charge.
(Additionally bookable under RMFA49 as Family Room Type A (2FA) with garden view).

Royal Suite Swim Up Pool View

The Royal Suites (SWP) are approx. 105 m² in size and feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (water included), safe, kettle, telephone (for a fee), TV, and a terrace with direct access to the communal swim-up pool. The rooms have two bedrooms.
(Additional contingent bookable under RMFA49 as Royal Suite Type B (RZ3)).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access represent an increased potential hazard for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen applies a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Junior Suite Panoramic Sea View

The spacious Junior Suites Panoramic Sea View (J2M, approx. 52 m²) offer an impressive panoramic view of the Red Sea and the expansive resort complex due to their elevated location. The tastefully furnished suites feature a combined living and sleeping area with a king-size bed, seating area, and dressing area. Further amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, kettle, safe, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The private balcony with seating invites you to enjoy the wonderful view and relaxing holiday hours.

Double Room Deluxe (RMFA49)

The Deluxe Double Rooms correspond in size and equipment to the Double Rooms (DD2). Also bookable with pool view (DBP) and with sea view (DDM).

Bungalow Deluxe Sea View (RMFA49)

The Deluxe Bungalows are approximately 35m² in size and are equipped with air conditioning, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, flatscreen TV, balcony or terrace, and have a sea view (2BM).

Superior Bungalow Sea View (RMFA49)

The Superior Bungalows are similar in equipment to the Deluxe Bungalows, but are larger at approximately 45m² (2UB).
