Location

The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the front line of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for its turtle population and has a house reef perfect for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday accommodation is about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. You can find various shops with bars and restaurants at the port of Port Ghalib (approximately 5 kilometers away).

Facilities

The stylishly built hotel complex features a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the resort. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and Swim-Up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very attractive, elegant design and has been generously conceived. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay, and features a reception with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area boasts a large pool landscape that winds through the resort. There are seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge in the pool area and on the private beach section, and bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the resort offers a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

Accommodation

Superior Double Room

The brightly furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with either a king-size bed or two single beds. A tea and coffee station is also available in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. Also available as Pool (DSP), Side Sea View (DSS), and Sea View (DMU). Also available for single occupancy.

Superior Double Room Guaranteed Sea View Top Floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and offer sea views. These rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea. Also available for single occupancy (MSE).

Premium Swim-up Double Room

The Premium Swim-up Double Rooms (DWP) are bookable as schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms and have the same features as the Superior Double Rooms, but with direct access to the shared pool. The rooms also offer the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the room
- VIP Treatment upon arrival: in-room coffee/tea maker, plus 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and assorted Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, à la carte restaurants are only included once).
Also available for single occupancy (EWP).

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2) have the same features as the Superior Double Rooms but are larger (approx. 56m²) and, due to their amenities (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area), are suitable for families. Optionally available with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as a Swim-Up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool. The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² in size and, with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. The rooms also have a spacious terrace with access to the private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea views.

Superior Double Room Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

All Inclusive

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7-10 am), lunch (12:30-2:30 pm), and dinner (7-10 pm) in buffet style. Additionally, a late riser breakfast is available from 10:30 am to 12 pm. The resort also features two à la carte restaurants (reservations required), which are included once per stay/guest (excluding Teppanyaki), but are charged thereafter: "Tao Tao" restaurant offers a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. Tea time is served from 12:30 pm to 5 pm. Various bars offer various refreshments and snacks throughout the day, such as "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.
Gentlemen must wear long trousers and appropriate footwear; no muscle/tank tops or shorts of any length.
While shorts are acceptable for ladies at dinner, hotpants and very short shorts are not.

Sports included

Fitness and aerobics room on the first floor with a unique panoramic view of the resort and the bay.

Diving center on the beach (for a fee) with a wide range of snorkeling and diving programs.

Children's program
