Location

The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is situated on a beautiful, gently sloping stretch of beach in the front row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for its turtle population and features a house reef ideal for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday accommodation is located approximately 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping opportunities, along with bars and restaurants, can be found at Port Ghalib harbor (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly constructed hotel complex comprises a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the property. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and Swim-Up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very appealing, elegant design and was conceived with a generous layout. The impressive reception area offers direct sea views of the resort and the bay, and features a reception with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area boasts a large pool landscape that winds through the resort. You will find seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge to guests in the pool area as well as on the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already provided in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex offers a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with panoramic views of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are at your disposal.

Double Room Superior

The cheerfully furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually controlled air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. A tea and coffee station is also available in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. Also bookable with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also available for single occupancy.

Double Room Superior Guaranteed Top Floor Sea View

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original Rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and offer sea views. These rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering breathtaking views of the Red Sea. Also bookable for single occupancy (MSE).

Double Room Premium Swim-up

The Premium Swim-up Double Rooms (DWP) are bookable as Schauinsland-Reisen Original Rooms and feature the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but with direct access to a shared pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also offer the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the room
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, plus 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and assorted Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant excluded; in all other rooms, à la carte restaurants are included only once).
Also bookable for single occupancy (EWP).

Double Room Deluxe

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms but are larger (approx. 56m²) and, due to their layout (a king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area), are suitable for families. Optionally also bookable with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as Swim-Up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually controlled air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. Additionally, the Executive Suites have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool. The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² in size and, with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. Additionally, the rooms have a large terrace with access to a private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea views.

Double Room Superior Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM), and dinner (7-10 PM) in buffet style. A late riser's breakfast is also available from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. Additionally, guests have access to two à la carte restaurants (reservations required), which are included once per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but incur a charge thereafter: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. Tea time is served from 12:30 PM to 5 PM. Various bars offer various refreshments and snacks during the day, such as "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.
Gentlemen must wear long trousers and appropriate footwear; no tank tops or shorts of any length.
While shorts are acceptable for ladies during dinner, hot pants and very short shorts are not.

Sports included

Fitness and aerobics room on the first floor with unique panoramic views of the resort and the bay.

Beachside diving center (for a fee) offering a wide range of snorkeling and diving programs.
