Newly opened in December 2023, the JAZ Amara Resort is situated on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly well-known for its resident sea turtles and features a house reef perfect for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday destination is located approximately 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping opportunities, as well as bars and restaurants, can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex features a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the property. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very appealing, elegant design and has been designed with a spacious layout. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay, and includes a reception desk with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area features a large pool landscape that stretches through the property. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for guests to use free of charge in the pool area as well as at the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already provided in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex features a spacious fitness center on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. The hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee) is located directly adjacent. A main restaurant, two à-la-carte restaurants, and various bars are at your disposal.

Superior Double Room

The comfortably furnished Superior double rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are each equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. A tea and coffee station is also provided in the room. The rooms have a terrace or balcony. Also bookable with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also bookable for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).
(Additionally bookable under RMFA45 as Superior Swim Up double room with direct access to the sharing pool (DWP/EWP/B2Q)).

Superior Premium Double Room

With the same facilities as the Superior double rooms, these are slightly more spacious and feature a pool view (PR2). Also bookable for single occupancy (PR1).

Superior Double Room Sea View Guaranteed Top Floor

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior double rooms and feature a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be located on the top floor of the hotel, thus offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also bookable for single occupancy (MSE).

Superior Swim-up Double Room Special

The Superior Swim-up double rooms (DWP) feature the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also include the following exclusive Schauinsland-Reisen amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the room
- VIP treatment upon arrival: Coffee/tea maker in the room, additional 2 bathrobes, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.
- Usage of the à-la-carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, the à-la-carte restaurants are only included once).

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe double rooms (DD2) are larger (approx. 56m²) with the same amenities as the Superior double rooms and are suitable for families due to their layout (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Optionally bookable with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as a swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² in size and, with the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, include a king-size bed as well as a dining group. The rooms also feature a lush terrace with access to the private pool (can be heated in winter) and direct sea view.

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:30), and dinner (19:00-22:00) in buffet style. A late-riser breakfast is also available there from 10:30-12:00. Additionally, two à-la-carte restaurants are available to guests (reservation required), which are included three times per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but are thereafter available for a fee: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes such as sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à-la-carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine-dining cuisine. Tea time is offered from 12:30 to 17:00. Various bars offer refreshments and snacks during the day, such as "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks as well as local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks as well as local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
Appropriate clothing is requested for dinner.
Gentlemen must wear long trousers and appropriate footwear; no muscle shirts/tank tops or shorts of any length.
