Location

The JAZ Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section in the first beach row of the popular bay of Marsa Mares. The bay is particularly well-known for its turtle population and features a house reef that invites you to snorkel and dive. Your holiday destination is located approximately 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. You will find various shopping opportunities with bars and restaurants at the port of Port Ghalib (approximately 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites distributed throughout the property. This includes various superior and deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very attractive, elegant design and has been conceived very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay, and features a reception desk with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area features a large pool landscape that runs through the complex. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heatable in winter). Sun loungers and parasols are available to guests free of charge in the pool area as well as on the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious gym on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à-la-carte restaurants, and various bars are at your disposal.

Superior Double Room

The comfortably furnished Superior double rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually controllable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with either a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. Also bookable with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also bookable for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).

Superior Premium Double Room

With otherwise the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, these are somewhat more spacious and have a pool view (PR2). Also bookable for single occupancy (PR1).

Superior Double Room Sea View Guaranteed Top Floor

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen-Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior double rooms and feature a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also bookable for single occupancy (MSE).

Superior Swim-up Double Room Value Room

The Superior Swim-up double rooms (DWP) feature the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also include the following exclusive amenities at Schauinsland-Reisen:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: Coffee/tea maker in the room, additionally 2 bathrobes, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.

Double Deluxe

The Double Deluxe (DD2) rooms are larger than the Superior double rooms (approx. 56m²) and are suitable for families due to the layout (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Optionally also bookable with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as a swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually controllable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also feature a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.

Royal Suite

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:30), and dinner (19:00-22:00) in buffet form. Additionally, a late-riser breakfast is available there from 10:30-12:00. Guests also have access to two à-la-carte restaurants (reservation required), which are included three times per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but are thereafter available for a fee: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à-la-carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine-dining cuisine. Tea time is offered from 12:30 to 17:00. Various bars offer different refreshments and snacks during the day, such as "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks as well as local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", as well as "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks as well as local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
