Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days as per the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

The itinerary may shift depending on the day of embarkation.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Tour of the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sailing to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The offering is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Single cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select

Location

Clear sea with beach and hotel buildings on the horizon under blue sky.
The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened for the first time in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on a beautiful, private sandy lagoon beach, providing the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The pier facilitates entry into deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers away from the hotel.

Facilities

This schauinsland-reisen-original hotel was built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 203 rooms and suites, which are distributed across various buildings. The complex features a reception with seating areas and an accompanying outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis Pool), as well as an island and kids' pool (all pools can be heated in winter). Restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à-la-carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), as well as "Basilico," which is operated as an international à-la-carte restaurant until evening and as an Italian à-la-carte restaurant in the evening. All à-la-carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of them adults-only, offer a selection of drinks. In addition, the holiday resort has a spa area, a gym, a beauty salon, a kids' club, as well as various shops.

The modern furnished rooms (DSU, approx. 40 m²) are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, seating area, and balcony.

The rooms (2FS) have the same amenities as the superior double rooms, but are larger (approx. 50 m²) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a shower and a terrace.

Junior suite

With the same amenities as the superior double rooms, but more spacious (JS2, approx. 55 m²) and with a living area.

Executive suite

The executive suites have similar amenities to the superior double rooms but are larger (ES2, approx. 70 m²). The rooms feature a bedroom with a queen-size bed, dressing room, bathroom with a separate shower, seating area, and terrace.

Deluxe beach front

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 m² and have similar amenities to the double rooms, plus a terrace. The rooms are in immediate proximity to the beach and feature a bedroom with a queen-size bed as well as a lounge area.

Anjum Jacuzzi suite with sea view

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 80 m² and consists of a bedroom with a queen-size bed as well as a lounge area. Otherwise having similar amenities, the rooms additionally feature a balcony with a Jacuzzi and a view of the sea.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast, including coffee and tea as well as various freshly squeezed juices (7:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.), lunch (1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.), and dinner (7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.) in buffet form. As required, the following à-la-carte restaurants are also included without restriction (subject to availability and with prior reservation): "Basilico" (12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. international cuisine, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Italian cuisine) as well as "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and offers Asian cuisine.
