Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. Boarding will always be on the next available date.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always lasts for seven days according to the program. The advance and subsequent stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Sailing from Esna.
Then, onward to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.

In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then, visit to the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sailing to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Sailing to Esna and visit to the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.

Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. The cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select

Location

Clear sea water in front of a sandy shore with a beach hotel on the horizon under a blue sky.
The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which first opened in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, private lagoon sandy beach, offering perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty facilitates entry into deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen-original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and features 203 rooms and suites spread across various buildings. The complex has a reception with seating areas and an adjoining outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis Pool), and an island and kids' pool (all pools are heated in winter). Restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which serves as an international à la carte restaurant until the evening and an Italian à la carte restaurant in the evening. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the holiday resort has a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

The rooms (2FS) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 50 m²) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a shower and a terrace.

Junior Suite

The Executive Suites are larger (ES2, approx. 70 m²) with similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms. The rooms have a bedroom with a queen-size bed, dressing room, bathroom with a separate shower, seating area, and terrace. The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 m² and have a terrace with similar amenities to the double rooms. The rooms are located in close proximity to the beach. Also available at an additional charge with direct access to a private pool (BSD). Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 80 m² and consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with two twin beds. The rooms have a balcony with a Jacuzzi and sea view, in addition to otherwise similar amenities.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea, as well as various fresh juices (7-10:30 AM and late riser's breakfast 10:30-11 AM on request included), lunch (1-3 PM) and dinner (7-10 PM) in buffet form. If needed, the following à la carte restaurants are also fully included (subject to availability with prior reservation): "Basilico" (7-10:30 AM à la carte breakfast, 12:30-5 PM international cuisine, 7-10 PM Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30-10 PM and offers Asian cuisine. Coffee, tea, and cake are served daily at the "Indigo Bar" from 3 PM to 5 PM. A midnight snack is available for guests from 11 PM to 1 AM in the Boscage Restaurant.
