Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

Your chosen travel package has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit the double temple (1,2,3).

In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also has a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Budget Suite

The budget suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) than the suites with otherwise identical amenities and may have a non-opening window instead of a French balcony and seating area.

The True Beach Resort, which consists of the sub-areas "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), first opened its doors in December 2023. The complex, designed in an Arab bohemian style, is located south of Marsa Alam and lies on a dreamlike coastal stretch with a bay in front featuring crystal-clear water, directly on the beachfront. Coral reefs in front invite snorkeling (swimming shoes recommended). Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel was built in an elegant Bohemian style combined with modern Arabic accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star resort consists of two sections, the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444), an Adult-Only area for guests aged 16 and over. The resort has a total of 158 rooms spread across both sections and offers a spacious reception area with a reception desk and the "True Lobby Bar" with seating both indoors and outdoors. The resort area features two large pools and a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (one of which is heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. A children's pool and a children's splash pool with various water games are located next to the mini club and the adjacent playground with a sunshade. The main restaurant "El Manzil" offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Additionally, the seafood restaurant "Ritsa" located on the beach is included once per stay. The three à la carte restaurants "El Tawla" (oriental), "NORI" (Asian fusion), and "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the Village area and are available for a fee (adults only, reservation required). Furthermore, the resort has a pool bar "Maya," a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available, for a fee), a theater offering various entertainment programs in the evening, a beach bar, and several shops, a hairdresser, and a spa area. The Village area is surrounded by an extensive water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that run through the entire resort, as well as an infinity pool with a view of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, you will find a pool bar "Scarab Bar," the oriental restaurant "El Tawla," and a chaise lounge. Two more bars, "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" Bar, are located directly on the beach in the Village area. Guests of the Village area can use both sections, but not vice versa. Loungers, sun umbrellas, and towels are included at the pool and on the beach.

The friendly furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU) have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (filled with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water upon arrival, water is refilled daily), kettle and safe, seating area and terrace, and are approximately 47 m² in size. Also bookable as type I (DSI) with the same amenities, limited quota, and special price. Optionally bookable for single use (DEU). Superior Double Room Sea View Upgrade
