Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then, back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Afterwards, the ship sails on to Luxor.
Once you arrive, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an option for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor refreshing drinks from the three bars on board. Additionally, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike views of the landscape along the Nile.

The nicely furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm in size and otherwise identically equipped to the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise identical amenities to the suites, and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The True Beach Resort, consisting of the sub-areas "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), first opened its doors in December 2023. The complex, designed in an Arab boho style, is located south of Marsa Alam on a fantastic stretch of coast with a bay in front of crystal-clear water, directly on the beach. Offshore coral reefs invite snorkeling (swimming shoes recommended). Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel was built in an elegant Bohemian style, combined with modern Arabic accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sub-areas, the "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and the "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444), an adult-only area for guests aged 16 and over. The complex has a total of 158 rooms spread across both sub-areas, featuring a spacious lobby with a reception and a lobby bar "True Lobby Bar" with seating indoors and outdoors. The resort area has two large pools and a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (one of which is heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. A children's pool and a children's splash pool with various water features are located next to the mini club and adjacent playground with a sunshade. The main restaurant "El Manzil" offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet style; additionally, the beachfront fish restaurant "Ritsa" is included once per stay. The three à la carte restaurants "El Tawla" (oriental), "NORI" (Asian fusion), and "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the Village area and are available for a fee (adults only, reservation required). Furthermore, the complex has a pool bar "Maya," a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available, for a fee), a theater offering various entertainment programs in the evening, a beach bar, and several shops, a hairdresser, and a spa area. The Village area is surrounded by a spacious water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that run through the entire complex, as well as an infinity pool offering views of the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heated). In the middle of the pool landscape, you will find a pool bar "Scarab Bar," the oriental restaurant "El Tawla," and a chaise lounge. Two additional bars, "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" Bar, are located directly on the beach in the Village area. Guests of the Village area can use both sub-areas, but not vice versa. Loungers, sun umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the pool and on the beach.

The nicely furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (stocked with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water upon arrival, water replenished daily), kettle and safe, seating area, and terrace, and are approx. 47 sqm. Also bookable as Type I (DSI) with the same amenities, limited availability, and special price. Optionally bookable for single use (DEU). Optionally available with a side sea view (D2S/S1S) or direct sea view (DMU/EMU, as Type I DMI). Available as swim-up rooms under RMF444.

The room (UMB) features the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms Sea View, plus the following extras:

The Family Rooms (DF2) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (stocked with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water upon arrival, water replenished daily), kettle and safe, seating area, and balcony or terrace, and are approx. 47 sqm. These rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed (maximum two children).

The Young Traveler Rooms (YST) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and are bookable for young adults aged 18-29. Limited availability and special price.

The Family Suites (2FS) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (stocked with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water upon arrival, water replenished daily), kettle and safe, seating area, and terrace, and are approx. 60 sqm. Additionally, these rooms have two bedrooms separated by a door.

Main restaurant "El Manzil" buffet style in the resort area for breakfast (7-10 AM, times may vary by season), late risers' breakfast (10-11 AM, times may vary by season), lunch (12:30 PM-2:30 PM, times may vary by season), and dinner (6:30 PM-9:30 PM Winter Season, 7 PM-10 PM Summer Season). From 11:30 AM to 5 PM, snacks are available at the pool bar. From 3 PM to 4 PM, tea time with cake and pastries at the resort area's lobby bar. Once per stay, the seafood à la carte restaurant "Ritsa" is included (reservation required; depending on occupancy, the restaurant may not be open daily).
