Travel information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable locally).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sail to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread across three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and generously designed reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also has ample loungers for relaxation and a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 sqm) have a bathroom with bathtub/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Single occupancy cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11 sqm) and with only one bed.

SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select

Location

The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened for the first time in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach and thus offers the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty facilitates access to deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 203 rooms and suites spread across several buildings. The complex features a reception with seating and an adjoining outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis Pool), and an Island and Kids pool (all pools are heated in winter). The restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which serves as an international à la carte restaurant until the evening and an Italian à la carte restaurant in the evening. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the holiday resort has a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast with coffee and tea, as well as various freshly squeezed juices (7 AM - 10:30 AM, and late riser breakfast 10:30 AM - 11 AM upon request, included), lunch (1 PM - 3 PM) and dinner (7 PM - 10 PM) in buffet style. If needed, the following à la carte restaurants are also fully included (subject to availability and with prior reservation): "Basilico" (7 AM - 10:30 AM à la carte breakfast, 12:30 PM - 5 PM international cuisine, 7 PM - 10 PM Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30 PM - 10 PM and offers Asian cuisine. At the "Indigo Bar," coffee, tea, and cake are served daily from 3 PM to 5 PM. A midnight snack is available for guests from 11 PM to 1 AM in the Boscage Restaurant.
