Combination package featuring a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers between segments. Hotel accommodation is provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the High Dam in Aswan.

Balloon ride possible at 5:00 AM (optional, bookable on site).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon departure to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning departure to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Departure to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterward, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then continue to Kom Ombo.

Breakfast on board. Afterward, the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.

Breakfast. Afterward, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins distributed across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and includes a front desk. Indulge in culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served at the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness center, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck, cool off in the pool, and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The comfortably furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) feature the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise identically equipped as the suites, but with only one single bed and without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may be without a French balcony and without a seating area, instead featuring a non-opening window.

The newly opened JAZ Amara resort (opened December 2023) is situated on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section in the first beach row of the popular bay of Marsa Mares. The bay is particularly known for its turtle habitat and features a house reef that invites you to snorkel and dive. Your holiday home is located approximately 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (approximately 5 kilometers away).

Facilities

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites distributed throughout the entire facility. Among these are various superior and deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very appealing, refined design and was conceived with great spaciousness. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view over the resort as well as the bay and features a front desk with various seating options as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area has a large pool landscape that runs through the complex. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heatable in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available to guests free of charge in the pool area as well as on the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already located in the rooms. Furthermore, the facility has a spacious fitness center on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). The comfortably furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 51 m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are each equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a coffee and tea station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. Also bookable with pool (DSP), side sea (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also bookable for single use (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).

Superior Double Room Sea View Guaranteed Top Floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and feature sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be located on the top floor of the hotel, thus offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Superior Swim-up Double Room Advantage Room

The Superior Swim-up Double Rooms (DWP) feature the same equipment as the Superior Double Rooms, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also have the following exclusive amenities at schauinsland-reisen:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: Coffee/tea maker in the room, additional 2 bathrobes, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included one extra time (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, the à la carte restaurants are only included once).

The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (07-10 AM), lunch (12:30-02:30 PM), and dinner (07-10 PM) in buffet form. In addition, a late-riser breakfast is available from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. Guests also have access to two à la carte restaurants (reservation required), which are included three times per stay/guest (excluding Teppanyaki), but are for a fee thereafter: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes such as sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine-dining cuisine. Tea time is offered from 12:30 PM to 05 PM. Various bars offer refreshments and snacks during the day, such as the "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks as well as local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar," "Fantasia Lobby Bar," and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks as well as local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
