Combination package featuring a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must arrive in Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must depart from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

The JAZ Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section in the first beach row of the popular bay of Marsa Mares. The bay is particularly known for the settlement of turtles and has a house reef that invites you to snorkel and dive. Your holiday domicile is about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam airport. You will find various shopping opportunities with bars and restaurants at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

Facilities

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites that are distributed throughout the entire facility. Among them are various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and Swim-Up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very appealing, elegant design and was designed very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort as well as the bay and has a reception with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area has a large pool landscape that runs through the complex. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available to guests in the pool area as well as on the private beach section free of charge; bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious gym on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). The friendly furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are each equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. The Superior Swim-up Double Rooms (DWP) feature the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also have the following exclusive Schauinsland-Reisen amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: Coffee/tea maker in the room, additionally 2 bathrobes, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.

In addition, the Executive Suites have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:30), and dinner (19:00-22:00) in buffet style. A late riser breakfast is also available there from 10:30-12:00. Additionally, there are two à la carte restaurants available to guests (reservation required), which are included three times per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but subsequently available for a fee: "Tao Tao" Restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes such as sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine-dining cuisine. Tea-time is offered from 12:30 to 17:00.
