Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. JAZ Elite Amara Resort

Location

The JAZ Amara resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section in the first row of the popular bay of Marsa Mares. The bay is particularly known for its turtle population and has a house reef ideal for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday destination is located about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at Port Ghalib harbor (about 5 kilometers away).

Facilities

The stylishly built hotel complex offers a total of 272 rooms and suites distributed throughout the resort. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very appealing, elegant design and has been generously conceived. The impressive entrance area offers direct sea views of the resort and the bay and features a reception area with various seating options and a lobby bar. The outdoor area boasts a large pool landscape that winds through the complex. There are seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for guests in the pool area and on the private beach section. Bath and beach towels are already provided in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex features a spacious gym on the first floor with panoramic views of the bay and the pool landscape. Adjacent to the gym is the hotel's Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

Superior Double Room

The brightly furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with either a king-size bed or two twin beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. Also available with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also available for single occupancy.

Superior Double Room with Guaranteed Sea View, Top Floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and offer sea views. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering breathtaking views of the Red Sea.

Premium Swim-up Double Room

The Premium Swim-up Double Rooms (DWP) are bookable as schauinsland-reisen Original rooms and have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but with direct access to the shared pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also offer the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, 2 extra bathrobes, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, the à la carte restaurants are included only once).

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2) are larger than the Superior Double Rooms (approx. 56m²) and, due to their furnishings (a king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area), are suitable for families. Optionally available with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as a swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² and, with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. The rooms also have a generous terrace with access to a private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea views.

Superior Double Room Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM), and dinner (7-10 PM) in buffet style. A late riser breakfast is also available from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. Additionally, two à la carte restaurants are available to guests (reservations required), which are included three times per stay/guest (excluding Teppanyaki), but thereafter are subject to a charge: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The "Bay View" à la carte restaurant offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. Tea time is served from 12:30 PM to 5 PM.
