Day 2:
After breakfast in the morning, excursion to Thebes West
to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
After breakfast in the morning, visit to the Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and sailing to Kom Ombo, where you will have free time.
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
After breakfast in the morning, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).

The Nile cruise ship of the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain has a total of 77 outside cabins spread across various decks. The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for the settlement of turtles and has a house reef that invites snorkeling and diving. Your holiday accommodation is located about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. You will find various shopping opportunities with bars and restaurants at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites distributed throughout the complex. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very appealing, elegant design and was conceived very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay and has a reception with various seating areas and a lobby bar. The outdoor area has a large pool landscape that winds through the complex. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available to guests in the pool area and on the private beach section free of charge; bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. The hotel's own Mivida Spa is directly adjacent (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

Superior Double Room

The friendly furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. A tea and coffee station is also available in the room. The rooms have a terrace or balcony. Also bookable for single use (KME), with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU).

Superior Double Room with guaranteed sea view, top floor

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original Rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and offer sea views. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea. Also available for single use (MSE).

Premium Swim-up Double Room

The Premium Swim-up Double Rooms (DWP) are bookable as Schauinsland-Reisen Original Rooms and have the same features as the Superior Double Rooms, but with direct access to the shared pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also offer the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, plus 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and assorted Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, à la carte restaurants are included only once).

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2) have the same features as the Superior Double Rooms but are larger (approx. 56m²) and are suitable for families due to their amenities (a king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Also available with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as a swim-up room (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool. The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² in size and, with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. The rooms also have a lavish terrace with access to a private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea views.

Superior Double Room Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM), and dinner (7-10 PM) in buffet style. A late riser's breakfast is also available from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. Additionally, two à la carte restaurants are available to guests (reservations required), which are included once per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but for a fee thereafter: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. Tea time is offered from 12:30 PM to 5 PM. Various bars offer various refreshments and snacks during the day, such as the "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
