The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for its sea turtle population and has a house reef inviting for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday destination is approximately 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the complex. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very appealing, elegant design and was conceived very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay, and has a reception with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area features a large pool landscape that winds through the complex. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for guests in the pool area and on the private beach section, and bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious gym on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Immediately adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

Double Room Superior

The friendly furnished Double Rooms Superior (DSU, approx. 51m²) have a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. A tea and coffee station is also available in the room. The rooms have a terrace or balcony. Also bookable with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also bookable for single use.

Double Room Superior with guaranteed sea view from the top floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Rooms Superior and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also bookable for single use (MSE).

Double Room Premium Swim-up

The Double Rooms Premium Swim-up (DWP) can be booked as schauinsland-reisen Original rooms and have the same features as the Double Rooms Superior, but with direct access to the sharing pool. The rooms also have the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, plus 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, the à la carte restaurants are included only once).

Double Deluxe

The Double Deluxe (DD2) have the same features as the Double Rooms Superior but are larger (approx. 56m²) and are suitable for families due to their furnishings (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Optionally also bookable with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as a swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and have a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² in size and, with the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. The rooms also have a spacious terrace with access to the private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea view.

Double Room Superior Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7 AM - 10 AM), lunch (12:30 PM - 2:30 PM), and dinner (7 PM - 10 PM) in buffet style. A late riser breakfast is also available from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. Additionally, two à la carte restaurants are available for guests (reservations required), which are included once per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but for a fee thereafter: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or teppanyaki. The "Bay View" à la carte restaurant offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. Afternoon tea is served from 12:30 PM to 5 PM. Various bars offer refreshments and snacks throughout the day, such as the "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
Smart casual attire is required for dinner.
Men must wear long trousers and appropriate footwear; no tank tops or shorts of any length.
Shorts are acceptable for women at dinner, but hot pants and very short shorts are not.
