Product information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., optional balloon excursion (can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then, continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.
Lunch and dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. The offer is complemented by cozy lounge bars. A small bazaar invites you to browse and shop. The spacious sun deck features a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet style. Drinks are charged extra.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sq m and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
Cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Budget Cabins

The budget cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sq m) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The spacious hotel complex of the popular Dana Beach Resort is located directly on its own sandy lagoon beach in the southern hotel zone of Hurghada. Enjoy a wonderful family holiday and experience Egyptian hospitality. The town center is approximately 18 km away (limousine service for a fee). Hurghada Airport is about 10 km away.

The hotel complex consists of a main building and three-story residential buildings with a total of 866 rooms. A seawater lagoon leads from the beach through the spacious and beautifully landscaped gardens to the reception building and is navigable by shuttle boats. Facilities include a stylish lobby with reception, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, Oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser.
The outdoor area features three swimming pools with integrated children's areas (two of which are heated in winter, one with water slides for children), a sun terrace, and a pool bar. A brand new highlight of the pool landscape is the newly built aqua park with 18 different slides for adults and children alike (11 for adults and 7 for children), adding an extra dose of excitement and action to your vacation. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included by the pool and on the beach. Unlimited access to the Neverland Aqua Park can be booked for an additional charge.

The friendly furnished rooms (D, DB) have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (soft drinks and water included), kettle, and safe, plus a balcony or terrace. They are approximately 25-30 sq m.

Double Superior Lagoon View "Chillout"

The rooms (SL2) are equipped like the double rooms, but are larger (approx. 45 sq m) and have a lagoon view. On the lawn in front of the residential building, there are Bali beds offering an exclusive chill-out spot for guests in these rooms.

Double Superior Sea View

The Double Superior Sea View rooms (DMU) have the same amenities as the Double Superior Pool View rooms, but with a sea view.

Double Superior Pool View

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) offer the same amenities as the Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 40-45 sq m) and have a pool view.
