Travel information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will also take place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The spacious hotel complex of the popular Dana Beach Resort is located directly on its own lagoon sand beach in the southern hotel zone of Hurghada. Spend a great family holiday and enjoy the Egyptian hospitality. It is approx. 18 km to the center (limousine service for a fee). Hurghada Airport is approx. 10 km away.

Amenities

The hotel complex consists of a main building and three-story residential buildings with a total of 866 rooms. A saltwater lagoon leads from the beach through the spacious and beautifully landscaped gardens to the reception building and can be traversed by shuttle boats. Facilities include a stylish lobby with reception, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser.
The outdoor area features three swimming pools with an integrated children's area (two of which are heated in winter, one with water slides for children), sun terrace, and pool bar. A special highlight for families is the Aqua Park opened in summer 2026. With a total of 14 water slides, it offers varied bathing fun for young and old. Various fast slides are available for teenagers and adults, while younger guests can look forward to a separate Aqua Park with age-appropriate water attractions. The family rooms (DF2) are approx. 60 m² in size with the same amenities as the double rooms and feature 2 bedrooms, air conditioning, and a balcony or terrace.

Double room Deluxe (HRGA07)

The double rooms Deluxe correspond to the double rooms and are bookable with garden view (DD2/DD3), pool view (DPB), and sea view (DDM).

The suites have a size of approx. 65 m² and feature a living area and a separate bedroom. The general amenities of the suites include Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, bathroom with shower/WC, as well as a balcony or terrace (S2M).
