Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Serenity and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Notice

The selected travel offer has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always takes seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between airport, hotel and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
After breakfast in the morning, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
After breakfast in the morning, visit to the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and departure to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
After breakfast in the morning, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).

Opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus at 3:30 am (2,3), breakfast package included.

After breakfast in the morning, free time. You will have a day to relax and enjoy the ship while sailing downstream to Luxor.
Then opportunity for a sound and light show at the Temple of Karnak (optional, can be booked on-site).

Facilities

The completely renovated 5-star Nile ship has a total of 40 beautiful outside cabins and suites distributed over three decks. All cabins and suites have a balcony. Furthermore, the luxurious ship has a main restaurant, a reception, as well as a lounge bar and a small bazaar. The ship also offers the possibility to stay fit in the fitness area. The pool on the sun deck invites you to cool off and relax. Enjoy the outdoor pool with a breathtaking view of the Nile. Bath towels are provided free of charge for guests.

Executive Cabin

The Executive Cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² in size and equipped with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive Cabins are located on the middle and upper decks.
Also available for single occupancy (EEX).

Suite

The Suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive Cabins, but larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony with a view of the Nile is approx. 3 m² and invites you to linger. The Suites are located on the Main Deck, Middle Deck and Upper Deck.

Saver Cabin

With the same amenities as the Executive Cabins, but slightly smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (R2S) are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) with similar amenities to the Executive Cabin and also have a balcony of approx. 4 m². They also feature a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal Suites are located on all three decks.

JAZ Makadina

Location

Built in Moroccan style, the hotel of the renowned JAZ Hotel Group is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with beautiful views of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approx. 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants and bars, which invite you to stroll. The water park is approx. 3 km from the hotel.

The JAZ Makadina is nestled in beautiful gardens and has 270 rooms spread across several small buildings within the complex. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee) and various bars. In addition to the show cooking in the hotel restaurant, the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi ensures culinary diversity.
The beautifully and spaciously designed garden area features a pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, mattresses, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Family Suite Superior

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms but are slightly more spacious, approx. 47 m², and have an additional seating/sleeping area separated by a curtain from the rest of the room.

Suite Superior

The Suite Superior (SU2) rooms have similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47 m²) and have an additional seating/sleeping area separated by a curtain from the rest of the room.
Also available as Deluxe Double Room (DD2). In this room, the seating/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Family Room Deluxe

The Family Rooms Deluxe (2DF) have the same amenities as the Family Rooms Superior. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.
Also available with pool view for an extra charge (FPD).

Junior Suite Side Sea View

The spacious (approx. 56 m²) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer, with the same amenities as the Double Superior, a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 TVs. The Junior Suites are 56 m². They offer a variety of wonderful views and are luxuriously furnished.
