Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Sightseeing of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, sightseeing of the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Sightseeing of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your physical well-being. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Steigenberger Resort Alaya

Location

The 5-star luxury hotel complex is located in the heart of the beautiful Madinat Coraya. Access to the sea is possible via a jetty. From here, the picturesque underwater world of Madinat Coraya can be discovered. The resort also has its own sandy beach section and is only about 5 km from Marsa Alam Airport.

Facilities

The beautiful adults-only complex (bookable from 16 years) has 290 elegantly furnished rooms and suites. The spacious reception area offers guests a reception and a lobby bar with seating. The hotel has a souvenir shop and a hairdresser. A main restaurant and four à-la-carte restaurants ("Basilico" - Italian, "Rocca" - Asian, "Zaytoun" - Oriental, "Mashawi" - Seafood), which will spoil you with delicious dishes, provide for the culinary well-being of the guests. In the various bars, you will receive a wide selection of drinks.
In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five spacious pools (partly heatable in winter) and inviting sun terraces.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Double room Superior

The comfortably furnished Double Superior (DSU) are 40 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, LED TV, safe, telephone (for a fee), balcony, and garden view.

The Double Superior Swim Up (DWP) are, with the same equipment as the Double Superior, somewhat more spacious (approx. 50 m²) and with their own direct pool access from the terrace.
