Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise hotel stays are dependent on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continuation from Esna.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious dishes for your physical well-being. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and are equipped with a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small circular window.

Single cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Spend a wonderful holiday with direct beach access in the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The holiday resort is located directly on a fine-grained sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. It is about 17 km to the center of Hurghada and approx. 11 km to the airport.

Facilities

This particularly family-friendly resort has 678 rooms spread across a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be comfortably reached via the five elevators. The lobby offers a reception and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique"-Asian, "Le Marche"-International, "Culina"-Seafood, "Sidi Ali"-Oriental cuisine), an à-la-carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, delights guests with a luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. In the outdoor area, the pool landscape stretches across a total of 9 swimming pools (some heatable in winter), four of which have an integrated children's area and a children's pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, ensuring plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

Bungalow with garden view

The bungalows with garden view (BG2) have a size of approx. 30 m² and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiles, air conditioning, telephone, safe (included), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), electric kettle, and a balcony or terrace.
Additionally bookable as Type I rooms (BGI/DEI) at a special price and limited allotment.

The bungalows are identical in size and equipment to the bungalows with garden view, but the view may vary (BU/B2A/B1B).

The Double Superior pool view rooms (DSP) are equipped like the bungalows with garden view, but are larger (approx. 36 m²) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings.

The double rooms with sea view (approx. 24 m², DM) have the same amenities as the bungalows with garden view, additionally have a sea view, and are located in the main building.

Super Saver room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the bungalows with garden view, are distributed throughout the hotel complex, and have a limited allotment.

Suite sea view

The suites with sea view (S2M) have the same amenities as the bungalows with garden view, but are more spacious (approx. 48 m²) with a living/bedroom and a separate bedroom. The rooms are located in the main building.

Double room Deluxe (HRGA05)

These double rooms are approx. 28 m² in size and are equipped with air conditioning, TV, shower/WC, and a balcony or terrace with a garden view (DD2/DD3). Optionally bookable without a specific view (DDA), with pool view (approx. 24 m², slightly smaller) (DPB), towards the sea side (approx. 24 m², X2M), or with sea view (approx. 24 m², DDM).
