Product information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon trip (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1, 2, 3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to visit Hatshepsut's Temple (1, 2, 3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Further sailing from Esna.
Then proceed to Aswan, where you will spend the night.
Lunch and dinner, as well as overnight accommodation on board.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1, 2, 3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca sailing on the Nile (1, 2, 3).
Then opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2, 3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1, 2, 3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1, 2, 3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet style. Drinks are available for a fee.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

These cabins (K1B) have the same amenities as the standard cabins but are smaller (approx. 13 m²) and have only one bed. The window cannot be opened.

Location

Spend a wonderful holiday with direct beach access at the popular Beach Albatros Resort, part of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and be enchanted. The resort is located directly on the fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. The center of Hurghada is about 17 km away, and the airport is approx. 11 km away.

Facilities

An elegant hotel lobby with chandelier, blue chairs, and city views through large windows.

This particularly family-friendly resort has 678 rooms spread across a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be easily reached by the five elevators. The lobby offers a reception and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Le Marche" - International, "Culina" - Seafood, "Sidi Ali" - Oriental cuisine), an à la carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, delights with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. Outdoors, the pool landscape extends over a total of 9 swimming pools (some heated in winter), four of which have integrated children's areas and a children's pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, ensuring plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

Bungalow Garden View

The Bungalow Garden View rooms (BG2) are approximately 30 m² in size and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiled floor, air conditioning, telephone, safe (incl.), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), kettle, and balcony or terrace.
Also bookable as Type I rooms (BGI/DEI) with special pricing and limited availability.

The bungalows are identical in size and amenities to the Bungalow Garden View, but the view may vary (BU/B1B).

Double Superior Pool View

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) are equipped like the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but are larger (approx. 36 m²) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings.
Also bookable with sea view (DMU).

Double Room Sea View

The Double Rooms Sea View (approx. 24 m², DM) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View, but also have a sea view and are located in the main building.
Also bookable for single occupancy (DEM).

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, are located throughout the hotel, and have a limited availability.

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms but are larger (approx. 48 m²), consist of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as a balcony or terrace.
Also bookable as Type I rooms (DFI) with special pricing and limited availability.

Suite Sea View

The Suites Sea View (S2M) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 48 m²) with a living room-bedroom and a separate bedroom. The rooms are located in the main building.
