Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening, cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue cruise from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
Opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The offering is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

Facilities

The exceptionally spacious resort complex has 465 rooms. The open reception area is equipped with a front desk and seating. In addition to the buffet restaurant, a total of eight à-la-carte restaurants provide for your culinary well-being (Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Bedouin, Mexican, Steak House, roots light & diet (all included), as well as "Felucca" with seafood - for a fee).
