Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
3rd Day:
Tour of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening trip to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
Continue journey from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

5th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Single cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Spend a wonderful holiday with a direct beach location in the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The holiday complex is located directly on a fine-grained sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. It is about 17 km to the center of Hurghada and about 11 km to the airport.

Amenities

This particularly family-friendly complex has 678 rooms, which are distributed among a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be reached comfortably via the five lifts. The lobby offers a reception and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique"-Asian, "Le Marche"-International, "Culina"-Seafood, "Sidi Ali"-Oriental cuisine), an à la carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar", newly opened in summer 2023, delights with a luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. In the outdoor area, the pool landscape extends with a total of 9 swimming pools (partially heated in winter), four of them with an integrated children's area and a children's pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, which ensure plenty of water fun. The bungalow garden view (BG2) have a size of approx. 30 m² and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiles, air conditioning, telephone, safe (incl.), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), kettle, and balcony or terrace.
Additionally bookable as Type I room (BGI/DEI) with a special price and limited allotment.

The bungalows are identical in size and equipment to the bungalows garden view, but the view may vary (BU/B2A/B1B).

The double superior pool view rooms (DSP) are equipped like the bungalow garden view, but larger (approx. 36 m²) and feature a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings.

The double room sea view (approx. 24 m², DM) have the same amenities as the bungalow garden view, additionally feature a sea view, and are located in the main building.

Super saver room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) feature the same amenities as the bungalow garden view, are distributed throughout the hotel complex, and have a limited allotment.

The family rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the bungalow garden view, but are larger (approx. 48 m²), consist of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as a balcony or terrace.

Suite sea view

The suites sea view (S2M) have the same amenities as the bungalow garden view, but are more spacious (approx. 48 m²) with a living/bedroom and a separate bedroom. The rooms are located in the main building.

Double room Deluxe (HRGA05)

These double rooms are approx. 28 m² large and equipped with air conditioning, TV, shower/WC, and balcony or terrace with a view of the garden (DD2/DD3). Optionally bookable without a specific view (DDA), with pool view, slightly smaller with approx. 24 m² (DPB), towards the sea side (approx. 24 m², X2M), or sea view (approx. 24 m², DDM).
