Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all inter-transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always used.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always takes place for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening trip to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continuing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.
Lunch and dinner as well as overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes for your culinary enjoyment. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same features as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

Spend a wonderful holiday with a direct beach location at the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The resort is located directly on the fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. It is about 17 km to the center of Hurghada and approx. 11 km to the airport.

Facilities

This particularly family-friendly resort has 673 rooms, which are distributed among a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be comfortably reached via the five elevators. The lobby offers a reception and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("East & West" - Indian, oriental, and Asian cuisine, "Le Marche" - international, "Culina" - seafood, "Sidi Ali" - oriental cuisine, an à-la-carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar" delights with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. In the outdoor area, the pool landscape extends with a total of 9 swimming pools (partially heated in winter), four of them with an integrated children's area and a children's pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, which ensure plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

The Garden View Bungalows (BG2) have a size of approx. 30 m² and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiles, air conditioning, telephone, safe (incl.), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), kettle, and balcony or terrace.
Additionally bookable as Type I room (BGI/DEI) with special price and limited contingent.

The bungalows are identical in size and equipment to the Garden View Bungalows, but the view may vary (BU/B2A/B1B).

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) are equipped like the Garden View Bungalow, but larger (approx. 36 m²) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings.

The sea view double rooms (approx. 24 m², DM) have the same facilities as the Garden View Bungalow, additionally feature a sea view, and are located in the main building.
Also bookable for single use (DEM).

Super saver room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) have the same equipment as the Garden View Bungalow, are distributed throughout the hotel complex, and have a limited contingent.

The sea view suites (S2M) have the same facilities as the Garden View Bungalow, but are more spacious (approx. 48 m²) with a living room and a separate bedroom. The rooms are located in the main building.

Double Room Deluxe (HRGA05)

These double rooms are approx. 28 m² in size and equipped with air conditioning, TV, shower/WC, and balcony or terrace with a view of the garden (DD2/DD3). Optionally also available without a special view (DDA), with pool view, slightly smaller with approx. 24 m² (DPB), towards the sea side (approx. 24 sqm, X2M), or sea view (approx. 24 m², DDM).
