Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days in accordance with the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1. Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, sightseeing of the East Bank, including Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Continuing the journey from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

5. Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
6. Day:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Voyage to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7. Day:
Continuing to Esna and visit to the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.

The ship features a welcoming reception area and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The facilities are complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The spacious hotel complex of the popular Dana Beach Resort is located directly on its own lagoon sandy beach in the southern hotel zone of Hurghada. Spend a great family holiday and enjoy Egyptian hospitality. The center is approx. 18 km away (limousine service for a fee). Hurghada Airport is approx. 10 km away.

Facilities

The hotel complex consists of a main building and three-story residential buildings with a total of 866 rooms. A saltwater lagoon leads from the beach through the spacious and beautifully designed garden area to the reception building and can be traveled by shuttle boats. Facilities include a stylish lobby with reception, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser.
Outside, there are three swimming pools with an integrated children's area (two of which are heated in winter, one with water slides for children), sun terrace, and pool bar. A special highlight for families is the Aqua Park, which opened in summer 2026. With a total of 14 water slides, it offers varied bathing fun for all ages. Various fast slides are available for teenagers and adults, while younger guests can enjoy a separate Aqua Park with age-appropriate water attractions. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are included at the pool and on the beach. If required, unlimited access to the Neverland Aqua Park can be booked as an extra.

The family rooms (DF2) have the same facilities as the double rooms, are approx. 60m² in size, and feature 2 bedrooms, air conditioning, and a balcony or terrace.

Double Room Deluxe (HRGA07)

The double rooms deluxe correspond to the double rooms and are bookable with garden view (DD2/DD3), pool view (DPB), and sea view (DDM).

Suite Sea View (HRGA07)

The suites are approx. 65m² and feature a living area and a separate bedroom. The general equipment of the suites includes Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, bathroom with shower/WC, as well as a balcony or terrace (S2M).
