Freshly renovated and reopened in 2026, the SUNRISE Azalea Aqua Park Resort is located in the north of Hurghada, directly on the beachfront. The spacious and wide stretch of beach with its own jetty invites you to relax and explore the underwater world. Hurghada Airport is approximately 25 kilometers away, and the center of Hurghada is about 16 kilometers away.

This schauinsland-reisen original hotel was extensively renovated in the winter of 2025/2026 and now shines in new splendor on the beachfront of Hurghada. The resort features a total of 569 rooms distributed across various building areas, including newly built, popular swim-up rooms. The complex offers guests 5 different pools spread across the resort down to the beach. One of the pools is heated during the winter months, and one pool is exclusively for adults (16+). Additionally, the resort offers three children's pools, all of which are heated. Nestled within the resort, a spacious aqua park offers water fun for all ages: ten different slides ensure daily sliding fun, and six additional slides are located specifically for younger guests in the children's area. Culinary experiences are provided by a total of 6 restaurants within the complex (one of which is for a fee) as well as three further à-la-carte restaurants located in the adjacent SUNRISE Serano Aqua Park Resort, which can be used free of charge. A selection of eight different bars (one for a fee, another exclusively for guests aged 16+) is available throughout the day. Sun loungers, towels, and parasols are available to guests free of charge at the pool and beach.

Family Suite Partial Sea View/Sea View

The family suites (F2M, 50m²) are equipped like the superior rooms, but consist of two separate bedrooms—one room with a double bed, one room with two single beds. The rooms feature a terrace or balcony with a partial or direct sea view.

Family Suite Swim Up

With the same amenities as the family suite with sea view, these rooms feature access to a sharing pool (FSU, approx. 48m²).
Please note that your booked room has a sharing pool and there is no dedicated lifeguard on duty at this pool. When traveling with children or non-swimmers, you are responsible for supervision yourself.

Superior Double Room Swim Up

With the same amenities as the superior double rooms, these rooms (DWU) are 44m² in size and feature a terrace with access to a sharing pool.
Also bookable for single occupancy (WU1).
Please note that your booked room has a sharing pool and there is no dedicated lifeguard on duty at this pool. When traveling with children or non-swimmers, you are responsible for supervision yourself.

Deluxe Double Room Pool View

The rooms (DPB) are slightly more spacious (approx. 35m²) with similar features to the superior double rooms and offer a pool view.

Family Jacuzzi Suite

The spacious Family Jacuzzi Suite (FJZ) with sea view offers plenty of space for the whole family with two separate bedrooms (1 queen-size bed and 1 twin bedroom) (approx. 80 m²). Amenities include a seating area, walk-in closet, bathroom with walk-in shower, and a balcony with a private outdoor Jacuzzi. Furthermore, the suite features air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a safe, minibar, hairdryer, iron, and HD/LED TV.

Junior Jacuzzi Suite

The spacious Junior Jacuzzi Suite (JJ2) with sea view offers a stylish ambiance for relaxing vacation days (approx. 80 m²). Equipped with a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a cozy seating area, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower, it ensures a high level of living comfort. A special highlight is the terrace with a private outdoor Jacuzzi. Further amenities include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a safe, minibar, hairdryer, iron, and an HD/LED TV.

Meals

All Inclusive

The holiday resort has six different restaurants: Heliodoro buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as a midnight snack; Basilico, serving breakfast and dinner in buffet style and à-la-carte in the evening; Manzoku, serving Asian cuisine à-la-carte in the evening; Manohar, serving Indian cuisine à-la-carte in the evening; Yades, serving Greek cuisine at lunch and dinner à-la-carte; and Felucca, serving seafood à-la-carte in the evening. The à-la-carte restaurants must be reserved on-site; the Felucca restaurant is for a fee.
Furthermore, the following three à-la-carte restaurants are available for dinner at the neighboring hotel "SUNRISE Serano Aqua Park Resort" upon reservation: Gamila (Egyptian cuisine), Frida (Mexican cuisine), and Elia (Mediterranean cuisine). Snacks are available at the Mayfair Lounge (coffee, tea, and cake) as well as at Burger Boulevard from 10 am to 6 pm.
Eight different bars, two of which are for guests aged 16+ and one for a fee, are available at various times, some of them around the clock.
