Location

The SUNRISE Azalea Aqua Park Resort, newly renovated and reopened in 2026, is located in the north of Hurghada directly on the beach. The spacious and wide beach area with its own jetty invites you to relax and explore the underwater world. Hurghada Airport is approximately 25 kilometers away, and the center of Hurghada is about 16 kilometers away.

This schauinsland-reisen original hotel was extensively renovated in the winter of 2025/2026, giving it a fresh new look right on the beach in Hurghada. The complex has a total of 569 rooms distributed across various building areas, including newly built, popular swim-up rooms. The property offers guests 5 different pools scattered throughout the grounds down to the beach. One of the pools is heated during the winter months, and one pool is exclusively for adults aged 16 and over. Additionally, the complex offers three children's pools, all of which are heated. Nestled within the grounds, a spacious aqua park offers water fun for young and old: ten different slides provide daily sliding fun, and six additional slides are available specifically for younger guests in the children's area. Culinary experiences are provided by a total of 6 restaurants in the complex (one of which is for a fee) as well as three additional à-la-carte restaurants located in the adjacent SUNRISE Serano Aqua Park Resort, which can be used free of charge. A selection of eight different bars (one of which is for a fee, and another exclusively for ages 16+) is available throughout the day. Sun loungers, towels, and parasols are available to guests free of charge at the pool and beach.

Family Suite Side Sea View/Sea View

The family suites (F2M, 50m²) are equipped like the superior rooms, but consist of two separate bedrooms: one room with a double bed, one room with two single beds. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony with a side or direct sea view.

Family Suite Swim Up

With the same amenities as the Sea View family suite, these rooms feature access to a shared pool (FSU, approx. 48m²).
Please note that your booked room has access to a shared pool and there is no dedicated lifeguard at this pool. If traveling with children or non-swimmers, you are responsible for their supervision.

Superior Double Room Swim Up

With the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, these rooms (DWU) are 44m² and feature a terrace with access to a shared pool.

Family Jacuzzi Suite

The spacious Family Jacuzzi Suite (FJZ) with sea view offers plenty of room for the whole family (approx. 80 m²) with two separate bedrooms (1 queen bed and 1 twin bedroom). Amenities include a seating area, walk-in closet, bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a balcony with a private outdoor Jacuzzi. Furthermore, the suite features air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a safe, minibar, hairdryer, iron, and an HD/LED TV.

Junior Jacuzzi Suite

The spacious Junior Jacuzzi Suite (JJ2) with sea view offers a stylish ambiance for relaxing vacation days (approx. 80 m²). Equipped with a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a cozy seating area, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower, it ensures high living comfort. All Inclusive

The holiday resort has six different restaurants: Heliodoro buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as a midnight snack; Basilico, breakfast and dinner in buffet style and à la carte in the evening; Manzoku, Asian cuisine in the evening (à la carte); Manohar, Indian cuisine in the evening (à la carte); Yades, Greek cuisine for lunch and dinner (à la carte); Felucca, seafood in the evening (à la carte). The à-la-carte restaurants must be reserved on-site; the Felucca restaurant is available for a fee.
Furthermore, the following three à-la-carte restaurants are available in the evening at the neighboring hotel "SUNRISE Serano Aqua Park Resort" (reservation required): Gamila (Egyptian cuisine), Frida (Mexican cuisine), Elia (Mediterranean cuisine). Snacks are available in the Mayfair Lounge (coffee, tea, and cake) as well as at the Burger Boulevard from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Eight different bars, two of which are for guests aged 16+ and one for a fee, are available at different times, some around the clock.

Beach volleyball, table tennis, darts, boccia, as well as a gym.

Children's program
