Location

The modern 5-star hotel complex, designed in an oriental style, is located in the idyllic and exclusive oasis of Abu Soma. The resort delights guests with its location directly on the approx. 200 m long hotel-owned sandy beach. In Soma Bay, you will find dreamlike coral reefs that invite you to snorkel and dive. The nearest town with entertainment and shopping options, as well as an on-site promenade with shops, is just a few steps from the hotel. The center of Safaga is approximately 5 km away. The distance to Hurghada Airport is approximately 52 km.

The Amarina Abu Soma Resort features 392 stylishly furnished rooms spread across six different buildings within the hotel complex.
The hotel welcomes its guests in an elegant lobby with a reception, seating areas, and a lobby bar. Explore the culinary offerings in one of the four restaurants. The main restaurant offers a varied and international buffet, while the three à-la-carte restaurants serve oriental, Italian, or Asian cuisine. Enjoy a drink at one of the ten different bars, each serving delicious beverages at various times throughout the day. The well-maintained grounds feature five pools, some of which are heated in winter. The Aqua Park, with seven water slides, and a children's pool with a Mini Aqua Park ensure plenty of water fun for both young and old. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available to guests free of charge at the pool and beach. The complex also houses several small shops (mini-market, boutique, jeweler) for guests to browse in the evening. Furthermore, the hotel has its own hairdresser and a disco (for guests 16 and older).

Double room

The friendly furnished double rooms (D) are approx. 30 m² and equipped with WC/shower, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, safe, coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony or terrace.
For an additional charge, they can also be booked with pool view (PD), sea view (DM), and for single occupancy (DE, PDE, DEM).
Also available as Type I with limited inventory and a special price (DI).

Double room Superior

The Double rooms Superior (DSU) feature similar amenities to the standard double rooms but are larger (approx. 35-40 m²).
Also available with pool view (DSP) and for single occupancy (DEU, ESP).

Double room Deluxe

The Double rooms Deluxe (DD2) feature the same amenities as the double rooms but are larger (approx. 36-42 m²).
Also available for single occupancy (DD1).

Family room

The Family rooms (DF2) feature the same amenities as the double rooms but are larger (approx. 36-42 m²) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a sliding door. One room is equipped with a king-size bed and the other with two single beds.

Super Saver room

The Super Saver rooms (SSZ) feature the same amenities as the double rooms, but have limited availability and a special price.

Breakfast from 7-10 a.m., lunch from 12:30-2:30 p.m., and dinner from 6:30-9:30 p.m., all served buffet-style in the main restaurant "Elements Restaurant".
Dinner can optionally be taken in one of the three à-la-carte restaurants (reservation required; for a minimum stay of 5 days, dinner in an à-la-carte restaurant is included once per stay). Choose between the following restaurants: "Chopstick" with Asian cuisine, "Luca Toni" with Italian cuisine, or "Zeina" with oriental cuisine.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included from 10 a.m. to midnight at the respective bars when open.

Sports included

Water aerobics, aerobics, darts, boccia, billiards, beach volleyball, water polo, table tennis.
The gym is open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. (sports shoes are mandatory here).

Sports for a fee

Water sports and a diving center (PADI certified) can be found at the beach (local provider, for a fee).

Children's program

For children aged 4-12 years, various activities are available in the hotel's own Kids Club. The language and opening hours vary depending on the season and occupancy. The complex also features a playground, a children's pool with a Mini Aqua Park, and a separate children's corner in the restaurant.
Cots are also available upon request free of charge.

Wellness
