Location

The modern 5-star hotel complex, designed in an oriental style, is located in the idyllic and exclusive oasis of Abu Soma. The resort impresses with its location directly on the hotel's own sandy beach, approximately 200 m long. Soma Bay is home to fantastic coral reefs perfect for snorkeling and diving. The nearest town with entertainment and shopping facilities, as well as a promenade with shops belonging to the hotel, is just a few steps away. The center of Safaga is about 5 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 52 km away.

The Amarina Abu Soma Resort features 392 stylishly furnished rooms spread across six different buildings within the hotel complex.
The hotel welcomes its guests in an elegant lobby with a reception area, seating, and a lobby bar. Explore the culinary offerings in one of the four restaurants. The main restaurant serves a diverse international buffet, while the three à la carte restaurants offer Oriental, Italian, or Asian cuisine. Enjoy a drink at one of the ten different bars, all serving delicious beverages at various times. The well-maintained outdoor area boasts five pools, some of which are heated in winter. The Aqua Park with seven water slides and a children's pool with a mini aqua park provide plenty of water fun for all ages. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach. The complex also houses various small shops (mini-market, boutique, jeweler) for guests to browse in the evening. Furthermore, the hotel has its own hairdresser and a discotheque (for ages 16 and over).

Double Room

The friendly furnished double rooms (D) are approx. 30 sqm and equipped with WC/shower, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, safe, coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, minibar (for a fee), and balcony or terrace.
Available at an additional charge with pool view (PD), sea view (DM), and for single occupancy (DE, PDE, DEM).
Also bookable as Type I with limited availability and special pricing (DI).

Double Room Superior

The Double Rooms Superior (DSU) have similar features to the double rooms but are larger (approx. 35-40 sqm).
Also available with pool view (DSP) and for single occupancy (DEU, ESP).

Double Room Deluxe

The Double Rooms Deluxe (DD2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are larger (approx. 36-42 sqm).
Also available for single occupancy (DD1).

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are larger (approx. 36-42 sqm) and feature two bedrooms separated by a sliding door. One room has a king-size bed and the other has two single beds.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the double rooms but have a limited availability and a special price.

Breakfast from 7-10 am, lunch from 12:30-2:30 pm, and dinner from 6:30-9:30 pm, all served as a buffet in the main restaurant "Elements Restaurant".
Alternatively, dinner can be enjoyed in one of the three à la carte restaurants (reservation required; with a minimum stay of 5 days, dinner in an à la carte restaurant is included once per stay). Choose between the following restaurants: "Chopstick" for Asian cuisine, "Luca Toni" for Italian cuisine, or "Zeina" for Oriental cuisine.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included from 10 am to midnight at the bars that are open.

Sports included

Water gymnastics, aerobics, darts, boccia, billiards, beach volleyball, water polo, table tennis.
The fitness room is open from 7 am to 7 pm (sports shoes are mandatory here).

Sports for a fee

Water sports and a diving center (PADI certified) are available on the beach (local provider, for a fee).

Children's program

For children aged 4-12, various activities are available in the hotel's mini club. The language and opening hours vary depending on the season and occupancy. The complex also features a playground, a children's pool with a mini aqua park, and a separate children's corner in the restaurant.
Cribs are also available free of charge upon request.

Wellness

For ultimate relaxation, the resort offers a spa area with a whirlpool, sauna, steam bath, and hammam. Various beauty treatments and massages are available. The spa area is open from 9 am to 7 pm for guests aged 16 and over and is partially subject to a fee.

The daily varied entertainment program ensures plenty of fun. Various program activities are available during the day and in the evening. In the evenings, there are different shows or live music.
