Location

This exceptional resort is located directly on a bay with a fine sandy beach, next to Xcaret Nature Park, approximately 6 km from Playa del Carmen. Excellently integrated into the natural surroundings, it offers a very special ambiance with Mayan ruins located within the resort. The resort is traversed by a small, artificial river and is built in a Mediterranean style, offering unique activities in the paid Xcaret amusement park.

Facilities

The spacious, tropical-style resort features 11 different themed restaurants (unlimited and without reservation), including 5 à la carte restaurants (Steak House, Mexican, Asian, Seafood, and Italian), a pizzeria, 11 bars, a business center, tennis courts, a discotheque, and shops. The outdoor area includes 6 swimming pools, three of which have a pool bar, as well as a children's pool with an adjoining kids' club and sun terraces. Umbrellas, loungers, and towels are included by the pool and on the beach.

Junior Suite

These suites have the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms, but are slightly larger (approx. 47 sqm) and feature a living area with a sofa. Guests also receive exclusive premium toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, 1 bottle of sparkling wine, and 1 in-room breakfast per stay (reservation via concierge service).

Concierge

Additionally offer the following amenities: upgraded amenities, a fruit basket upon arrival and a bottle of wine, concierge service, minibar (replenished every other day), evening turndown service, bathrobes and slippers, and premium bathroom amenities.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Rooms (approx. 32 sqm) feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, telephone, TV (no German channels), Wi-Fi, minibar (replenished every 2nd day), safe, coffee maker, internet access (for a fee), and a balcony or terrace.

Royal Level

The 39 Royal Level rooms, in addition to the amenities of the Deluxe Double Rooms, feature a DVD and CD player, a scale, a coffee machine, and a hydro-massage bathtub.
The Royal Level exclusively offers guests a separate reception area, a lounge, bar service with international drinks, room service, a "Royal Restaurant" where guests can exclusively dine, an exclusive pool area, and a section near the beach. Wi-Fi is also included in the rooms.

Unlimited Xcaret Xperience

Admission to the water park can be booked additionally for 1 week (minimum stay is 7 nights!). Additional weeks can be booked on-site upon request.
Unlimited free entry to the breathtaking and unique XCARET PARK (including admission and shows), as well as access to the park's beach coves with all their beautiful colorful fish and turtles.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Hotels in Mexico are gradually introducing an "Eco-Tax".
This requires every hotel room user in Mexico to pay a tax to the state locally at the hotel, similar to a tourist tax.

As of April 1, 2021, a tourism tax came into effect, currently amounting to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican pesos or approx. 11 US dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

No smoking policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. Brown algae are particularly common in the Caribbean during this period, affecting the beach and sea. Hotel management and local authorities are naturally making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may cause some noise.
