Location

Located directly on a bay with a fine sandy beach, next to the Xcaret nature park, this extraordinary complex is approx. 6 km from Playa del Carmen. Outstandingly embedded in the natural environment, it offers a very special ambiance thanks to the Mayan ruins located on the grounds. The complex is crossed by a small, man-made river, is built in a Mediterranean style, and offers unique activities at the Xcaret theme park for a fee.

Facilities

In the spacious tropical-style complex there are 11 different themed restaurants (unlimited and without reservation) including 5 à-la-carte restaurants (steakhouse, Mexican, Asian, seafood, and Italian), a pizzeria, 11 bars, a business center, tennis courts, a disco, and shops. In the outdoor area, you will find 6 swimming pools, three of which have a pool bar; there is also a children's pool with an adjacent children's club and sun terraces. Sun umbrellas, sun loungers, and towels are included at the pool and beach.

Junior Suite

These have the same facilities as the Deluxe Double Rooms, but are slightly larger (approx. 47 m²) and have a living area with a sofa. In addition, guests receive exclusive premium bath products, bathrobes and slippers, 1 bottle of sparkling wine, and breakfast in bed once per stay (reservation via concierge service).

Concierge

Offer the following additional amenities: upgraded facilities, a welcome fruit basket and a bottle of wine, concierge staff, minibar (replenished every two days), evening turndown service, bathrobes and slippers, as well as premium bath amenities.

Deluxe Double Room

The deluxe rooms (approx. 32 m²) feature shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, telephone, TV (no German channels), Wi-Fi, minibar (replenished every 2 days), safe, coffee maker, internet access (for a fee), and a balcony or terrace.

Royal Level

The 39 Royal Level rooms feature the same facilities as the Deluxe Double Rooms, plus a DVD and CD player, bathroom scale, coffee maker, and hydro-massage bathtub.
The Royal Level offers its guests exclusive access to a separate reception area, a lounge, bar service with international drinks, room service, a "Royal Restaurant" where guests can enjoy their meals exclusively, an exclusive area by the swimming pool, and an area near the beach. Wi-Fi is also included in the rooms.

Unlimited Xcaret Xperience

Admission to the water park can be added for 1 week (minimum stay is 7 nights!). Further weeks can be booked on-site upon request.
Unlimited free admission to the breathtaking, unique XCARET PARK (incl. entry and shows), as well as access to the park's beach coves with all their beautiful colorful fish and turtles.

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 m x 2 m). For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds are provided, meaning: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Smoking ban

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seaweed and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae (sargassum) in the Caribbean is often recorded during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making every effort to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local municipal administrations. However, the use of appropriate machinery is required for this, which may cause a slight noise level.
