The hotel is located directly on the fine sandy beach of Bahía Petempich bay near Puerto Morelos on the Riviera Maya. Cancun International Airport is about 20 minutes away.

The resort features 444 elegant suites, 1 buffet restaurant, 4 à la carte restaurants, 1 pizzeria, and 6 bars. The outdoor area includes 5 spacious pools, including children's and swim-up areas, a modern spa, a fully equipped fitness center, 2 tennis courts, and the "Star Camp" kids' club. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available at the pool and beach free of charge. Wi-Fi is available and included throughout the hotel.

Double Room Premium Pool View

The rooms are modern and feature a bathroom with a shower. Further amenities include a king-size or two queen-size beds, air conditioning, hairdryer, iron, flat-screen TV, a safe, and a daily replenished minibar. All rooms have a balcony or terrace (PPD/1PP). Swim-up rooms with direct pool access are also available at an additional charge (RU2).

Junior Suite Pool View

With the same amenities as the Double Room Premium rooms, but more spacious (J2P/J1P). Sea view is also available at an additional charge (JOV). Direct pool access is also available at an additional charge (2YZ).

Corner Suite Ocean Front

With the same amenities as the Junior Suite, but more spacious. The rooms are also located directly by the sea and feature a terrace (CSZ).

One Bedroom Family Pool View

With the same amenities as the Junior Suite, but the room is divided into two areas. In addition to the queen-size bed, there is a sofa bed or 2 single beds. All rooms have a balcony (ZOP).

Hotels in Mexico will be introducing an "Eco-Tax". This requires every user of a hotel room in Mexico to pay a local tax to the government in cash at the hotel.

A tourism tax was implemented on April 1, 2021, and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos, or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

Alternatively, the tax can be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. It is advisable to have the exact amount in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars with you.

Destination information

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can generate some noise.
