This spacious resort consists of a 3-storey main building and several two-storey buildings, surrounded by well-kept gardens between the impressive reception building and the large freshwater pool landscape. Sun loungers and pool towels as well as additional sun towels on the beach are included. The restaurant and 4 specialty restaurants (Mexican, Oriental, Italian and international), a snack bar, Mike's Coffee Bar (4:00 PM – 11:00 PM) as well as 3 bars provide for your culinary well-being. Shops for daily needs, a lounge area with canopy beds on the beach, and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel are free of charge. A professional team of entertainers provides fun and entertainment in the hotel, on the beach, and in the theater during evening shows.

Maya Deluxe Room

The deluxe rooms are equipped with one king-size or two queen-size beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, LCD satellite TV, minibar (replenished daily with soft drinks, water and beer), coffee machine, direct-dial telephone, Wi-Fi (incl.), alarm clock, safe, air conditioning, and a furnished balcony (MY2/MY1).

Privilege Junior Suite

The Privilege Junior Suites are renovated and additionally feature a seating area with a sofa and armchairs, as well as Privilege amenities: Privilege Concierge, premium drinks in the minibar, preferred reservation in the à-la-carte restaurants, welcome gift, 24-hour room service, access to the Privilege Lounge (library, snacks and premium drinks), and a private beach section with Balinese beds.

Extra Privilege Service

Exclusive evening excursion from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM, including food, drinks, and entertainment at another Ocean hotel. Transfer must be arranged independently. (The Privilege Concierge must be notified by customers 24 hours prior to the excursion).

The high-quality and spacious Romantic Suites feature a comfortable king-size bed, garden view, safe and minibar (complimentary), pillow menu, seating options, telephone, TV, Wi-Fi (complimentary), Jacuzzi, as well as a bathroom with a bathtub or shower, WC, and bathrobes/slippers. Smoking ban

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations may be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

For stays between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seaweed and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, a frequent increase of brown algae in the Caribbean can be observed. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, striving to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. This, however, requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may cause a slight noise level.
