This spacious complex consists of a 3-story main building and several two-story buildings, surrounded by well-maintained gardens between the impressive reception building and the large freshwater pool landscape. Sun loungers and bath towels by the pool, as well as additional sun towels at the beach, are included. The restaurant and 4 specialty restaurants (Mexican, Oriental, Italian, and International), a snack bar, Mike's Coffee Bar (4 PM–11 PM), and 3 bars ensure guests are well catered for. Shops for daily needs, a lounge area with canopy beds on the beach, and Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel are free of charge. A professional team of entertainers provides fun and entertainment at the hotel, on the beach, and during evening shows in the theater.

The deluxe rooms are equipped with one king-size or two queen-size beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, LCD satellite TV, minibar (replenished daily with soft drinks, water, and beer), coffee machine, direct-dial telephone, Wi-Fi (included), alarm clock, safe, air conditioning, and a furnished balcony.

Privilege Junior Suite

The renovated Privilege Junior Suites additionally feature a seating area with a sofa and armchairs, as well as Privilege amenities: Privilege Concierge, premium drinks in the minibar, preferred reservation in the à-la-carte restaurants, welcome gift, 24-hour room service, access to the Privilege Lounge (library, snacks, and premium drinks), and a private beach section with Balinese beds.

Extra Privilege Service

Exclusive evening excursion from 6 PM to 1 AM, including food, drinks, and entertainment at another Ocean hotel. Guests must arrange their own transfer. (The Privilege Concierge must be notified by the customer 24 hours before the excursion).

Smoking ban

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations may be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During a stay between April and December, there may be an increased occurrence of seagrass and algae due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often a higher frequency of brown algae in the Caribbean. This impacts the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, making every effort to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. This requires the use of appropriate machinery, which causes a slight background noise.
