The hotel is located directly on the beautiful, white sandy beach of Playa Paraiso, between the towns of Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen. Cancun Airport is approximately 30 minutes away.

The spacious and extensive complex with 446 rooms is located in a complex with the hotels Iberostar Paraiso del Mar, Iberostar Paraiso Maya and Iberostar Paraiso Beach. Guests can enjoy the comfort and facilities of all complexes. For culinary delights, there is the main restaurant, 5 à la carte restaurants depending on availability (American Grill, Lemon&Spice, Greek, Mediterranean, Italian and Steakhouse) and 6 bars. In the spacious, beautifully landscaped garden complex, there is a fantastic pool landscape with a wave pool, activity pool, relaxation pool, children's water park with slides (from 1.20m) and sun terraces. The complex also has an ice cream parlor, crêperie, fitness room, spa, hairdresser, shopping arcade and two discotheques (adult disco and teen disco). Wi-Fi is available free of charge in the lobby.

The beautiful rooms have a bathroom with shower or bath/toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, WI-FI (one password per person free upon arrival), ceiling fan, cable TV, telephone/alarm clock, minibar (incl.), safe (incl.), coffee machine, iron/ironing board and balcony or terrace with tropical view (BPN/BPE). The rooms are a bit more spacious and also offer a small living area (JNP).

Family Room

The family rooms consist of two connecting rooms and have a king-size bed and two double beds, bathroom with shower or bath/toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, WI-FI (one password per person free upon arrival), ceiling fan, cable TV, telephone, minibar (incl.), safe (incl.), coffee machine, iron/ironing board and two balconies (DF2).

PURE WELLNESS is designed to provide guests with a better night's sleep. In addition to the usual cleaning protocol, PURE rooms undergo an additional seven-step process using state-of-the-art technology to capture and eliminate viruses, bacteria, and airborne particles, minimizing the presence of potential irritants. This process includes the installation of a state-of-the-art air purification system and treatment of all guest room covers and surfaces. The technology is certified for the elimination of the COVD-19 virus. All PURE rooms are installed and maintained by PURE Wellness.

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

From now on, hotels in Mexico will gradually introduce an "Eco-Tax".
This means that every hotel room user in Mexico is obliged to pay a fee to the state locally at the hotel in cash, similar to a tourist tax.

A tourism tax came into force on 01.04.2021 and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approx. 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

Features the Winnow system for food waste reduction, 3R devices for
waste management in the hotels, and installed drinking water fountains.
We have two coral nurseries in front of the complex where we work with our
scientific team to restore the coral reefs.
Together with the community where the Paraíso complex is located, we monitor the
hotel beaches for turtle nests, which are then relocated to camps set up for this
activity.
We maintain mangrove areas in our Paraíso complex, which help protect our coasts
and hotels from storms and hurricanes.

Alternatively, the tax can be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. It is advisable to carry the exact amount in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars.

No smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course striving to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause a slight background noise.
