This 5-star resort is built in a Caribbean-Mexican style. It features 502 suites and pampers its guests according to the Unlimited-Luxury® principle. The resort offers a buffet restaurant, 6 à la carte restaurants (seafood, Asian, international, Mexican, Mediterranean, Brazilian, and grill), a snack café, a grill restaurant, 13 bars (2 exclusive to Preferred Club guests), and 24-hour room service. The tastefully furnished rooms feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, king-size bed or two double beds, safe, Nespresso machine, minibar (replenished daily with beer, water, and soft drinks), bathrobe and slippers, as well as a living area with a sofa bed and a furnished terrace with a whirlpool (J2P/J1P). Also available with garden view (JGB/JGS), side sea view (JS2), or ocean view (JOV).

Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View

These spacious rooms offer the following additional amenities: Private check-in/check-out in the Preferred Club Lounge, club lounge access with internet, daily continental breakfast, afternoon hot and cold snacks and desserts, à la carte breakfast at the "Maris" restaurant, a one-day pass to the wet areas of the Secrets Spa (at the neighboring Secrets Playa Mujeres/per person per stay), as well as 20% off spa treatments (not combinable with other promotions/offers), an upgraded minibar, upgraded bath amenities, and a pillow menu. Upon request, a daily newspaper is delivered to the room free of charge (in English or Spanish), and there is an exclusive beach area (PJO). Consequently, every hotel guest in Mexico is required to pay a state-mandated environmental tax in cash at the hotel.
**************************************A tourism tax came into effect on April 1, 2021, and is currently a one-time payment of 224 Mexican pesos or approx. 11 US dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

Smoking ban

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations may be punishable by fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

Between April and December, increased seaweed and algae levels may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often a higher frequency of brown algae in the Caribbean during this time. This can affect the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities naturally strive to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal governments. However, the use of appropriate machinery is required for this, which may cause a slight noise level.
