Location

This adults-only hotel is located directly on the kilometer-long, white dream beach of Playa Maroma. It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the Riviera Maya. Transfer time from the airport: approx. 30 minutes. Playa del Carmen is approx. 20 minutes away.

Facilities

The award-winning romantic resort has 412 rooms, a buffet restaurant, 6 à la carte restaurants (Asian, Italian, French, Mexican, Steakhouse, and Seafood specialties), 7 bars, and a shopping arcade. In the spacious garden complex, there are 2 large swimming pools and 2 whirlpools that invite you to relax. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are included by the pool and on the beach. Junior Suite

The Junior Suites are approx. 55 m² in size, modernly furnished with a king-size bed or two queen-size beds and a seating area, whirlpool bathtub/shower/toilet, hairdryer, bathrobe, TV, telephone, Wi-Fi (free), CD and DVD player, alarm clock, iron and ironing board, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, coffee maker, safe, and balcony. Available with partial sea view, direct sea view, or as a Junior Suite Swim Out (from November 2021 only on request) for an additional charge.

As of April 1, 2021, a tourism tax has been implemented and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approx. 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

Smoking Ban

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal Note

For stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the local authorities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates a slight noise.
