Location

The hotel, newly opened in winter 2019, is located directly on the expansive, gently sloping sandy beach. Cancun Airport is approx. 20 minutes away by car. Playa del Carmen, with its numerous entertainment and shopping opportunities, is approx. 47km away.

Facilities

The resort features 553 modernly furnished Junior Suites and Suites, a reception area with comfortable seating. Culinary delights are provided by a total of 8 restaurants (Barefoot Grill, Bluewater Grill, Buffet restaurant, Italian, Seafood, French, Asian and Mexican), an ice cream parlor, a cafe (coffee, tea and snacks), 6 bars (Lobby bar, Pool bar, Beach bar, Sports bar and Disco, Swim-up bar, Theater bar). Further amenities include 3 pools, a children's splash pool, a disco (for ages 18+), Wi-Fi, laundry service (for a fee), souvenir shop, and air-conditioned meeting rooms. Beach towels, loungers, and umbrellas are included on the beach and by the pool.

Junior Suite

The Garden View Junior Suites feature a combined living/sleeping area, bathroom, shower, toilet, air conditioning, minibar (replenished daily), safe, smart TV, balcony or terrace (JS2/JS1). Also available at an additional charge with Tropical View (JD2/JD1), partial sea view (JVZ), sea side (JM2/JM1) or Swim Out (JSO).

Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View

These feature the same amenities as the Junior Suites and offer sea views, with additional amenities: Preferred Club Lounge/Personalized check-in and check-out/Daily continental breakfast/Hot and cold hors d'oeuvres in the afternoon/Exquisite desserts and fine spirits/complimentary business center (PJO). Also bookable as Ocean Front (PCO).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room, meaning occupancy: 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

A tourism tax came into effect on April 1, 2021, and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.
The tax can be paid electronically before departure via the following link: http://www.visitax.gob.mx/sitio/
Alternatively, the tax can also be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. It is advisable to carry the exact amount in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars.

No smoking policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punishable by fines or imprisonment.
