Location

Newly opened in February 2020, the hotel is located directly on the beach, not far from the center of Cancun. Cancun International Airport can be reached in about 30 minutes.

Facilities

The modern family resort has a total of 416 rooms, all with sea views. It also features a reception area with a front desk. For culinary delights, there is 1 buffet restaurant, an ice cream parlor, a wine list, Coco Café, and 6 à la carte restaurants (Asian, Mexican, Italian, Grill), of which the Vista Prime Restaurant is exclusively for Preferred Club guests. There are also 6 bars and 3 pools, one of which is exclusively for Preferred Club guests aged 18 and over. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included by the pool and on the beach.

Deluxe Ocean View

The rooms have a king-size bed or two queen-size beds. The rooms also feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, safe, minibar (daily replenishment), cable TV, iron/ironing board, and balcony (OD2/OD1). Golf view can be booked at an additional charge.

Preferred Club Ocean View

With the same amenities as the Deluxe Ocean View rooms, but with the additional Preferred Club amenities: Personal check-in and check-out area, access to the Private Preferred Club Lounge with snack bar, exclusive access to the adults-only rooftop pool, one-time access to the hydrotherapy spa area per stay, exclusive access to the Bluewater Grill restaurant, 24-hour room service, bathrobes and slippers (DOV).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With a double occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children / 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room, meaning occupancy is: 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Effective immediately, hotels in Mexico will gradually introduce an "Eco-Tax".

A tourism tax came into force on April 1, 2021, and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approximately 11 US dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

Alternatively, the tax can be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. It is advisable to carry the exact amount in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars.

No smoking policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, brown algae are often found in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are naturally endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may cause some noise.
